  4. I put a big armful of extra shopping in their trolleys whilst they are dithering . Sometimes they don't notice , other times they look around puzzled thinking they now have the wrong trolley and WhereTF is theirs ?
  5. I am able to control and even initiate the electrochemical firing of neurons , in fact my knitted self showed me how . I therefore feel that my will is in fact of the free variety . In the not to distant future there will be more like me ..........
  6. There is a Eastern European that habitually rides a pushbike with no lights or hi viz from town to our village . The first time I encountered him it was a close call as there was a car in front of me and they were turning left down a small lane . As they turned off there he was , all in black , no lights or reflectors , no street lighting as its horses and arable land . It was about 7.00 pm and pitch black . I saw the shopping bag swaying from the handle bars first . I am ready for him now ......if he lives that is .

    Sharpening

I seem to be able to judge cutter length pretty well by eye . If there is a damaged one I just sharpen it till it is back to a point ( full chiz ) and then ignore it for the the next couple of sharpens until the others come back somewhere near it . Say the others get 3 strokes the short one will get 1 stroke then eventually they are back the same .
  8. Its a dumping ground ! Do any of them collide ?
  9. Any one read a book called " Weave World " ? It goes the other way , infinitely small as opposed to infinitely big ......
  10. A 1973 Lancia Betta lasted about 6 months !
  11. Bring back the grease nipple ! Look silly on an I phone I suppose .
  12. Demanding a ransom in Monopoly money I hear ........
  13. I blanked mine off before it failed as I thought it was a pants idea . I followed a Modeo along the A27 a while back and there was a belch of smoke every 100yards or so . This continued for several miles untill I turned off . I coud only assume it was a faulty EGR valve opening and closing as he went along ?
  14. Yea I thought this . You can get someone to keep the micro switch closed to keep it running but on a Jensen it will stop .
  15. I tried putting a pound in the trolley but it kept falling through the mesh
  16. And if they are on a certain make of pickup the cycle forces diesel into the engine oil diluting it and raising the level and the engine blows up .
  17. Mine also . D.P.F collects all the shit , then goes through a regen cycle and punts it out into the atmosphere in one go .
  18. I know that is what it is supposed to be but how can allowing exhaust gasses back into the combustion chamber to mix with the next charge and then be expelled through the exhaust together with the exhaust from the just fired charge be any cleaner ?
  19. Got any old sporting injuries , things that don't trouble you at the moment ? It will find them out and make you suffer .
  20. I hate it when people drive up to a massive empty roundabout that you can see right across and stop . Wait till something comes just to justify them stopping .
  21. She has been dead 10 years but that wont stop her
