    Try a new tank breather . Could be partially blocked . Might just be vaporization .

  3. Not worth debating . Either will do . . Having said that the 288 is very old school . There are 2 more generations of Husqvarna 90cc saws to go through . The 592 being the latest .
  4. I dunno if or what you are doing wrong but they do get much bigger .
  5. Some palms ( don't know if its this variety ) the sap , will attack the aluminum of a saws cases .

  7. You will have to change the worm wheel that drives the oil pump also .
  8. If you are knocking over large softwoods with chunky bark yes , I get it .

  12. No , not noticed that . Had a 357xp that I ran on bean oil for a while ( castor bean ) but you needed to strip it and clean it every so often . That smelt good . Bit like Castrol R 40 .
  13. I have always used Hylomar from back in the 70s . I initially used it coz I liked the " electric blue " color 🙂
