  1. A mistake IMHO . Crimp it off and fit a standard de comp . You won't get a torn pipe again but ho hum .
  2. I did not let her go until l the pebble was at rest . She just went in the general direction , turned down wind of the pebble and quatered up to it , soft mouthed it and brought it back . No damage to fer teeth .
  3. I took one of my spaniels to the beach one day ( can't remember which dog it was ) and the beach was all pebbles . I was picking up a pebble studying it for markings and then throwing it in amongst all the other millions of pebbles on that beach . Every time , without fail she brought back the pebble I had thrown . Just the scent of my hand momentarily on the pebble was enough .
  4. The whole saw should run slightly cooler and spin up slightly quicker , maybe not noticeable . You wont ever have that clogged up spark screen to worry about .
  5. Pull it out and bin it . First thing I do on a new saw .
  6. Looks like it was started by Included bark in the union .I don't think it will affect the rest of the limb .
  7. Yes at a Reading festival .First laser set I had ever seen firing through very fine rain . Genesis ( withe Pete G ) Cant remember where was the 1st time . Wishbone Ash Southampton Odean . Pink Floyd possibly at Knebworth . Big Jim Sullivan and Little Willie Austen at my local pub on my 40th birthday . Rush at Portsmouth Guild hall . Rory Gallagher ...Brighten Dome ? Jimi Hendrix IOW festival . Alex Harvey Chichester College . ( cost 50p with student union card ) Free , somewhere ..... All the above seen several times except for Jimi . A host of others , too many to list .
  8. For me the list is way too long to post up .
  9. As I understand it Mick they dont sting like an ordinary wasp but rather slash with a saber like stinger .
  10. Lovely old tree . Obviously clear up the detached limb ( fire wood ) and get some potting compost and plant daffodils in all the natural cavitys . Looks great in the spring . Thats what I would do .
  11. The sensational Alex Harvey band at Chichester collage back in the 70s .
  12. Saw the " Ink Spots " do Whispering Grass , 1954 I think 😁
  13. I don't know if it will see me put but I am sure it will see me out .
  14. Yes . I did away with that auto decomp on one years ago . Just crimp over the bit of metal pipe that the rubber goes on and fit a normal decomp button or blank it off completely . It was absolutely fine after that .
  15. The " new " Navaras have a 5 year warranty on the chassis now . My 71 plate has seen one and a bit winters and its all good underneath .
  16. Looks like a cheapie Chinese ? but I could well be wrong ! ( often am ) 🙂

    Jokes???

A hay bale at the moment but I have only had a couple of sips so far . I am sure it will become a hole in due coarse .
  18. I drove over a wasps nest on a ride on mower they instantly swarmed around my head some getting into my Orange Husky hat and stinging my bonce . I pulled my hat off and tossed it away and they chased after it . I came back and got it next day .

    201 porting

Spud is retired me thinks . He has ported most of my saws , petemate ported my 560 and recently Crocky ported my 395 . I think Mark ( crocky ) is the only one doing it now and I can highly recommend him . And yes its worth it . @Crocky
  21. It is very low but did you test it on a compression tester for a car ? If you did it will read low .
