  4. The only stipulation I could see was to use it for three months.
  5. Doobs you are correct of course . I use alkylate fuel now a days because I can . I don't use Aspen anymore as my dealer does not stock it but I use the husky equivalent . I mix the 4t stuff with my stock of Red Line racing 2t oil at 50:1 . I used to use petrol and have come to no harm but , I do feel better using alkylate fuel and so do my saws .
  6. Does the main soil pipe have to run up hill to any degree . Could be a sewage pump ...?
  7. Get your logs split and in the log store early spring and most species ( except Oak ) will be ready to burn that winter . (This of coarse requires air flow and rain off ) They will take up some moisture from the ambient condition as winter approaches but its a good starting point .
  8. If its good enough for Stuart Hogg .....🙂
  9. Clean out the oil hole in the bar ( if you haven't already ) and the bar groove with the proper tool . Does it cut out at idle ? or when in the wood ? If its the former just up the idle a tad .
  10. Steve beat me to it . Steve is it not called the tip site directory any more mate ? @Steve Bullman ( did the gap 😀 )
  11. I think you are being a little unfair on numptys . I think he was probably a hair dresser .
  12. Put yourself in the tipsite directory and remember everything has a value so a few beers or something ...
  13. I saw that the " dirtiest man in the world " died recently . I wonder how much money he saved over the years ,
  14. And yet he works in one a lot of the time 🙂
  15. Yes he is about quite often . I tried doing an @Davidhumphries but it did not go black so I have got that wrong somehow . ( It would alert him to the post ) Perhaps Steve can sort it .

    Mini Saws

For that " down on the ground " stuff a forestry clearing saw would bosh that of in minutes
  17. Why not support your local log merchant and get better value ? I would sooner have air dried anyway . After all 20% moisture is 20% moisture no matter how its achieved and air dried has a bit more about it if you get my meaning .
  18. Is that a small Burley ? If it is have you tried removing that blanking plate above the door to reveal the convection tubes ?
  19. Still way too warm down here in the south . 18 degrees still . Lit it once a couple of weeks back as there was a frost in the morning but let go out as it was unbearable by 08:00 am !
  20. You can't stop stuff rotting if the conditions prevail ...
