  5. Hi all you new members . I was a new member once and know where you are at . It is a cracking site with a wealth of knowledge and differing opinions . Every one I have encountered has been friendly and helpful . There are some characters on here believe me . Wait till you come across Jon ( mediplogs ) you will learn a whole new way of speaking .... Bless him !
  6. Have seen this before 2 or 3 times and every time I think its just a timing / rhythm thing . Once you get into the timing of it I think it is ok . If you cock up a setting just back out of the sequence and re enter when you are set again . Ho hum ....
  7. Every time I see that one it gives me a shudder !
  8. Phew ! Well done dog ! Worth a couple of sore knees top retain your gear matey .
  9. Give him a price to chip it !
  10. I think its pretty much the same as a Husqvarna 365. Slower revving than an XP saw but last a good while . 20" ish bar max ?
  11. 89cc just short of 6hp I think Jon .
  12. Could be wrong here but is it dependent on the HP ?
  13. If your bar rails are worn down you can get a situation where the drive tangs don't sit in the groove correctly . If you can rock the chain from side to side ( a significant amount ) after tensioning the the bar at best needs the rail dressing and worst its shot .

    echo saws

I know its only stickers ,and it does not bother me ( I have USA and Canadian saws ) but they won't be " C E " marked . Extreme situation it could affect insurance ......
  15. Depends on how big a tree and how much it is leaning the wrong way . You could do a cushion cut and use a felling bar ( longer the better ) or if its a biggun as has been said bottle jack . Climb up and put a rope round as well maybe . If it only a tiddler and not leaning too far my choice would be the felling bar .
  16. He actually wrote " im looking for ...) but knowing Jon that could mean anything ...Thanks !
  17. Interesting . Thanks Cut4Fun .
  18. Seen em on "racing" saws No cover as it won't fit on the ones I saw .
