  1. Thanks for all the adivice!! its night 1 tonight! stayed up as late as I could last night and then slept in till 10 and managed to then kip mid afternoon! feeling good about it and hopfully can sleep in tomorrow a bit later than 10!!!
  2. well its only night for a few months then i am going to newzealand and hopfully wont be on nights then!! and nights are worth it I recon for that little bit of extra cash, just wondering if any thing people do before trying to sleep through the day or just let your body adapt slowly??

  4. my girlfriend Is in Rotorua at the moment, and I am flying into Auckland, so guessing have a look around that area first I think then if I can find anything I will head down south more. Great advice!! first thing I was gonna do was go boar hunting!! gonna skip it for a few weeks atleast! get my self settled before I lose a limb!!

Hi guys just after anyones insight please So I am flying out to New Zealand on boxing day, gonna try and start a new life out there, I am currently doing a lot of stuff here I do a lot of building work, irata rope access and also started doing some ground work! hopfully I will get to do some more before I leave. I wanna get into the tree work when I am over there hopefully I was just wondering if its gonna be worth doing my 30/31 here then trying get work there, or just get more experience here save my money then when I head over try to find work without them then do qualifications. Also whats it like trying to find work with only a bit of experience, I like to think I am a hard working guy and I wanna learn more. Thanks in advance for any advice!

  7. cheers for some advice! problem is need the certs before company's would even look at my cv to offer me a job. just need to decide if to go for it or not within the next 2 days or I lose the chance to change my mind! thank you tho for the advice!!
  8. Hi guys Got a dilemma some of you might be able to help me with! At the moment I am doing irata rope access, but work has gone really quiet so am having to supplement it with building work. My question is (why I am posting on this forum) I have booked my CS 30-31 to try and get some more work, both of de-veg for rope access and hope fully get my 38 so I can climb trees aswell, but is it gonna bring me that much more work? its a lot of money for me to be spending when I don't have much work and im starting to think twice!!! Hope someone can give me a bit of advice, sorry its not really about full tree work!!
  9. i ride a motorbike already! i will learn how to use it, just wanted to know about the training beacuase didnt wanna turn up without knowing!
  10. ok thanks for all the replys, quess start practicing using other hand! not to bad just not as neat yet and i natrally pick it up wrong way around so need to brake that habbit!

Hi guys just a quick question i have got my cs30 / 31 coming up start of june, And i am left hand, recently i have been trying to change my hands around when ever i use my saw, But the cuts just arnt as nice!! so my question is on the training course do you have to cut with left hand forward or dont mind you swapping around?? cheers
