  1. Anyone got a part number for one of these wondrous caps? Put a slightly oversized o ring on mine and it seals but is a right pain to undo
  2. Snow on Ben more yesterday as well!
  3. I think if I bought one I'd probably end up trying to collect all of them and I'm really can't afford that 😁😁
  4. My mates got a wee gransfors that he uses for his spoon making and its a lovely tool, properly made like a tool should be. Just not sure the splitting axe would so much better than the fiskars that its worth the huge amount extra, like I said it would be nice to try though, wish I could afford both.
  5. Fiskars x27 is a fantastic tool, never tried the gransfors but would like to compare them one day, wouldn't have thought there's much in it.

    Home brew!

Generally about 80 days but it does vary a bit, mind you I tried some at 14 days a while back and it was lovely. Normally the longer the better within reason

    Home brew!

I have 6 one the go at all times, 3 x ale and 3 x lager for the Mrs. One drinking and 2 maturing, 40 pints in each and have one pint each a night = plenty of time to mature
  8. That bench is a lovely, simple design. Love it
  9. Pure genius👏👏
  10. You must have used some fairly rubbish post drivers then
  11. That's amazing Mike, great work
  12. Been a member for years!😁
  13. Thanks Tony, I must be going senile, I thought I'd sent that question via pm rather than on the open forum. Sorry for the derail folks.
  14. Hi Tony I've just been searching for powdered turquoise to do a few inlays but I'm struggling to find any. Have you got a link to where you get yours?

As said above, that post had everything, highs and lows, smiles and sadness. The P.S. made me laugh out load and now the dogs' looking at me a if I'm mad! 😁😁 Keep it up mate, thinking of you.
  19. Is that like blue nun?😁
  20. Any problems drop me a pm, most people can do it after a bit of practise
  21. This video shows the basic idea, check out the idea with the sewer line and the bricks, kind of explains it well. I normally use 2 pieces of 2.5 ht plain wire. https://youtu.be/zGap9uJPawg
  22. Get 2 bits of bent wire and divine it picks up everything. Ive been up against a CAT before and picked up stuff they couldn't. Easy to do once you get the hang of it.
  23. Adding ballast works really well i n the touring cars, great racing 👍👍

Hi Sean Great to hear a generally upbeat report, I was betting a bit worried that we hadn't heard from you for a few days. Keep up the good work.
