  1. I bought the bike from a friend who purchased it in the early 8o's. it is a revel romany but my mates nicknamed it super camp. I recon the mr motivater outfit would finish off the look a treat.
  2. bloody fuel spout has damn near seized on mine. i pretty much just use my old stihl can now. Will dig out the oil spout and swap it with the fuel spout to make it usable again- i did know it fitted from the start.
  3. i have a tourer, Super Camp, which i ride to work occasionally but mostly i am on the mtb with the throttle wide open!!!
  4. exmoor wood fuels
  5. Never been much of a country fan but was listening to it on the radio whilst in the usa. been doing some painting this weekend and been listing to it and seem to be enjoying it. easy listening i suppose. [ame] [/ame]
  6. i have the same trouble. it did seem to get better. the screw fell out one side so i went back to my old petzl helmet and my god what a difference. The ear defenders seem to clip down on to your head with a lot more pressure creating a better seal- have tried same ear defenders on the stein helmet and but i get the same problem. Maybe my head is not fat enough for the helmet!! But have not bothered getting screws for the stein and have probably been wearing the old petzl for nearly a year!!
  7. A little one up the road that they want down.
  8. Love the working Cockers, mental at times but lovely dogs. I always thought the lemon coloured ones were more likely to get the rage? And I think a previous post is bang on with they're comment about the kennel club. I will never buy a dog that is kc registered. They breed them to close meaning they get problems. Had a working Cockers in the past who died at 18 months and game keeper near me has said they have had a lot of problems with Cockers dieing young
  9. Just got back from the states where in had a siverado v8 petrol. Got similar fuel return as my diesel hilux. And it went like a rocket!
  10. Haven't used my 200 since I got my 150. Cracking saw. If I need anything bigger, usually dismantles I get the 550 up there
  11. Stoat ally. Friction cord in general terms is a consumable so some people replace them at loler time anyway. If you have second hanf kit that has no history then it can be lolered as most of the gear will be familiar, as in the examiner will know that the item conforms. Problems arise with the date of expiry as they will have to er on the side of caution. You don't need the serial number on the rope it just needs to be identifiable, can be anything ie mb1 or mb2.
  12. I thinking of giving it up! Electrician is the way forward
  13. another option could be sending it to an inspector, if their is not one locally.
  14. i would come down if there is a couple of kits that require examination
  15. One of the lads couldn't resist riding this into the bog against the advice of his peers. Tractor and winch job to get it out.
  16. Most rivers it would be the responsibility of the environment agency in which case it is masses of paper work to be one of three contractors on the framework. Canals may be worth a look thou
  17. Pm me I may have a stress control box. May require a bit of rooting around in me shed to find it thiu
  18. Good morning. LOLER examiner covering Devon Somerset Bristol and surrounding areas. Discount on multiple kits. Can be flexible, overnight or the week end if necessary. Obviously my aim is to pass your kit, it is likely that you would have retired any equipment that is not safe to use as you are the one with your life on the line. Contact via 01984 641732 07969023182 [email protected] Thanks mark
  19. An old four track used to go into low on the stick then press a button to get the front hubs engaged. Sounds like a top mod
  20. Mine is a 2.4td it's the damn turbo lag that just seems to kill it. Not to bad when your in the turbo but working my way down the gears with every hill when I am towing. The spec I got is not too bad with electric mirrors windows rc locking etc. Did think of getting a newer truck but it is a gamble what ever you get!
  21. Awsome. It's like having a bike park on your door step. road riding is good as well bit roads are not very smooth
  22. Hi lux, reliable will go on for ever but small bed on the double cab, gutless, and over priced. You'll get more for ya money with the Isuzu. Rangers seem alright but a bit thirsty
  23. Haven't been out on my road bike since the rim blew out. Just been smashing it off road on my mtb- did have a bit of a spill last Tuesday night. Think I might get some knee and shin pads
  24. Got manual hubs on my hilux. I can leave um locked all the time so I get four wheel drive on when I go to 4x4 or I can disengage them so if I am doing more on the road or if I want to drive in low box whilst in 2wd- won't be doing that with you auto hub's!
