I may be looking at a job taking a walnut out at the end of the month. if I get the timber and its the right size and any good id be happy to sort some out for him

What would be the best way to dry a ring like that. I've got some beech that's 1.2m di and it would be nice to make a table in the same way but I thought it would just crack and split if it was in a ring. Sent from the future.

Does anyone else find the underneath gets hot and burns your ass when on your tool clip? i used one yesterday for 10-15 mins and it was quite hot.

As far as I know they don't cover hv lines.

you are fine on a shutdown to use a mewp.

I don't think they will cover a 11kv line and you wont be able to do it with a mewp live.

Looks like they are 11kv lines. I think you will have to get a 3rd party shutdown. If you cut through it that will have the lines on the floor. The tree needs to be reported to ukpn as its in danger of breaching the lines and causing a fault.
