  1. I may be looking at a job taking a walnut out at the end of the month. if I get the timber and its the right size and any good id be happy to sort some out for him
  2. What would be the best way to dry a ring like that. I've got some beech that's 1.2m di and it would be nice to make a table in the same way but I thought it would just crack and split if it was in a ring. Sent from the future.

  17. Has this tree now been cut. Just I saw some paper work in the office a couple of days ago about a tree that sounded very much like this one
  18. As far as I know they don't cover hv lines.
  19. you are fine on a shutdown to use a mewp.
  20. I don't think they will cover a 11kv line and you wont be able to do it with a mewp live.
  21. Looks like they are 11kv lines. I think you will have to get a 3rd party shutdown. If you cut through it that will have the lines on the floor. The tree needs to be reported to ukpn as its in danger of breaching the lines and causing a fault.
