Yeah I've been watching several of them. Just didn't know if we could get a load of info in one place.

I've been doing a bit of milling for a couple of years. All I've really done is boards and a few beams. Would be nice to improve my knowledge and I'm sure others would also. Thought it would be good for people to share a bit of milling knowledge

You can use a shot gun to shoot deer only if you get a licence to do so. And they done hand them out very often if at all.

It would be wonderful to see them. But they are being released to help with deer rabbit and hare numbers. How many are they going to kill and eat a week?? 2or3 deer. How many do the Rangers shoot a week. 10-15. And they are sold going into the food chain. How long till they turn to easier food source of live stock. This really needs to be thought about and not just jump straight into it.

I've got one with the xsercher head. Tight beam good 800 yards plus.

I have an opening with wood turners and wood workers. Been asked about some boards. Just don't know how to price it. Cubic ft I was thinking just want a rough idea on what people are charging.

I've had a search and can't find anything easily. How much is milled timber worth both green and seasoned? I've got syc beech and oak. Also some cherry and small amount of Apple.
