  1. I've been offered a yew stump I can't find anything to help as to what it's worth. Can anyone help? This is the only pic I've got of it that's any good. It has been dug up now.

  3. What ever you do. Do not buy silver line. I got one to do my stairs (pine). And it hardly scratched it.
  4. Mill what you can and I'd say the rest can go to wood turners.

  9. I generally only mill in the winter. It was all stacked and sticked. Might try to get more weight on it.
  10. Do you get any issue with splitting? Got some cherry that's split like hell.
  11. What are people using to seal end grain. I've some paraffin wax but it's white. I'd rather something clear. What do you all recommend?
  12. About15 meters over a hedge and access was just wide enough for the avant.
  13. Unless a huge Crane is brought in there is no way of getting it out. The rings have been counted and it around 200. It was 2 trees.

  19. Depends on price and what the haulage would be. As that can very quickly kill the price.
  20. Where abouts are you? It it coppice or new trees? Have they got tree Guards?
