  1. It was meant with a slight bit of humour. To get a bite from Stuart. But I have spoken to a turner who has a fb page sells his products at a healthy price but won't pay for wood.
  2. Both good for turners. But be careful all wood turners are tight ar**d gits. 😉
  3. That's sh**! Will keep my eye open I'm not far from there.
  4. Only on arbtalk can it go from shooting to charcoal.😂 I've not shot pigeons over decoys in years.
  5. Do you know a wood turner that could do it on a lathe
  6. I'm waiting on a price for one from a mate. 👍
  7. Contact them direct. There was a bad batch believe they have sorted it now.
  8. I'm looking at the pressure pots and vacuume bits currently for stabilising and casting blanks and bits.
  9. 🙈. Yeah that's fine. We can muddle something together.
  10. All my stuff doesn't move length ways I may wedge it if it wants to roll. You are more than welcome to come over mine and we can mill some bits up
  11. I missed out on an arrowsmith a few years ago and I keep kicking myself about it. But something along those lines would be perfect
  12. A box big enough for the timber I want to dry. As for the dehumidifier I've currently no idea.
  13. Has any body had any luck finding a food safe epoxy. I did speak to a bloke that had some chopping boards that had a coloured resin in the cracks. But he was extremely reluctant to tell me what resin it was.
  14. An insulated box and dehumidifier seems like it would do what I want it to for now.
  15. I got some of the same to fill in some cracks in a bit of beech. Get 2 cups and weigh it out on some kitchen scales. That's how I done it anyway. A little goes a long way. I mixed up far too much first time and now have a loverly cast of a plastic cup!!!🙈
  16. I have read through most of it. Don't need anything that size. I could scale it down.
  17. I'm toying with the idea of getting a kiln to dry some of my timber. Doesn't need to be huge most of my bits are 10-12ft long and just over 3ft wide. Anyone got anything or recommend anything?
  18. Thanks. I'll look into it.
  19. I thought it produced good figured wood? Or is it a case of all the mud and stones that will be in it?
  20. Oh right how come. It's already dug up and I believe most of the mud is already off it.
  21. It split in to 2 stems.
  22. I'm looking to buy it to cut it and sell it on as blanks for turning and knife handles. And yes it's a house brick sorry.
