  11. Hi Brian, I work for a Council and I feel for you. I am seeing more and more of this. I think you are well within your rights to complain and tell them that its losing you work, its not good enough. As for going ahead with the work anyway, I wouldn't agree with but I know that's how it makes you feel. If its a conservation area application they have six weeks to reply and if you have heard nothing then you are free to do the work, still I would give them an extra week just to be on the safe side. Tpo applications - annoyingly can be limitless waiting. I would suggest a phone call or two to the highest planning officer you can. good luck.
  12. For its age that's the best 020 ive seen, you've got your self a bargain there. I have lost count of the equipment I have been given as scrap by people saying youll never fix it. I have upset most of em. good feeling aint it.
  13. You have done well there !!!
  14. Ive never seen blue before. Black, clear, White but never blue? Looks the same give it a go, you will soon find out.
  15. I put a smaller sprocket on mine to slow the chain and give more torque and put a 20'' bar on. Thinking of nitrous oxide next.
  16. They are a tw0t to fit at the best of times and the cheap ones seem more easily bent if you are not very careful. GHS are usually the cheapest on fleabay and a lot the cheapest stuff is made out of cheese. Its worth spending that little bit more and getting a bit better quality. There are loads of threads on here talking about this. Don't worry, you've not totally wasted your money- you have learnt from it.
  17. I have had a small disagreement with them but it was a while ago and I cant remember just what is was, not used them since. Tesgol is who I use now, had no problems and when I have its been sorted out amicably. From what you say I could understand an argument against you would be that you didn't install it correctly. Am I right?
  18. Thanks Ed
  19. Some pictures may give a better understanding to viewers, but still only limited opinions can be given without further investigation. Just trying to be helpful.
  20. Is it the standard one turn out? I thought it would be as its a Walbro carb on my Husky t435. But when I removed the limiter caps and turned the screws back in, they turned in over twice each? Not started to retune yet but just got me thinking that the standard setting for this carb maybe more than one turn? Anyone actually know? or have the Husky service data sheet for this saw? Regards M
  21. Unfortunately you cant buy spare scabbards for the silky saws, you have to buy complete new. Its a pain, I have worn loads of scabbards out.
  22. You are right to be concerned. Im sure it wont be TPO'd for long when you show these pictures to your local tree officer.
  23. I drive an crane wagon from time to time with a remote control for the hiab. When the remote is switched on, you press a button for it to connect signal with the wagon and any nearby cars have problems with the electronic key fobs while you are using it. Apparently the remote uses a frequency that blocks all nearby similar type signals, as some kind of safety feature. Something similar may be happening to you?
  24. Ok ill borrow it cough, cough, steal it from you some time.
