  2. Thought i'd put this up here if anyone is interested. Chipmaster Wood Log Chipper Shredder Good Condition Honda Engine | eBay
  3. So one of these crates will fill just shy of 9 barrow bags?? I know thats what the numbers on the calculator says but in the real world does it pan out?? I'm quite interested but don't think i'll be having any out of this container! Mog needs chipbox and a chipper lol
  4. I have a l200 and a defender 90 200tdi. The defender is a toy and is fun to drive, has a good suspension setup and tyres but it's still a toy. I wouldn't want to take it to work all week. The l200 is easier to drive, comfier/quieter and has more grunt.
  5. Just need a nice tp chipper to go on the back
  6. Aye he gave me the lowdown on operating etc etc top bunch of lads up at vos.
  7. Ohh no like machines to work!! Not one of these that spend all day polishing. Anyway you've seen my l200, that gets polishished all the time hehe:blushing:
  8. Aye Dave is a star lol he showed me round first time i went up. Go on Stevie what you got
  9. That blue u1100 is a bit special!! It's turbo'd about 150hp haha It's dangerous me going up there because it gets me thinking lol They have a 407 in the workshop and thats turbo'd and it dyno'd at 160hp:w00t: their putting an intercooler on there aswell and hope to see abit more. I could spent money all day at that place!!!
  10. I went to the fabricators next door today and we came up with a cutting list and a diagram for the chipbox and when i did the maths its gonna hold about 5.5m3 to 6m3 does this sound right? It's 5ft high from the bed and will have an apex in the middle which will be 6ft from the bed. That's about the same as you can get in a tranny? I'm planning on finding a 8t trailer and mounting a hiab on the drawbar that way i can carry chip timber or even lift the chipper on the back. Well thats the plan
  11. Drums all round. Not as good I know but ill just have keep up on maint and checks if im towing alot I suppose.
  12. It really hasnt done very much and is amazing to drive coming from tractors. It has the six speed with the cascade box so more gears than you have fingers and toes.......unless your from burnley There is a massive gap between 5th and 6th so when you get in top it feels like it just keeps going and going lol Hodge it was £8250 in the end so managed to get over a grand off asking price
  13. Less than they wanted for it and it was VAT free which is a bonus for me.
  14. Nowt new there then I started with nothing and i've still got most of it left so that'll do for me
  15. Cheers bud i've been like a kid at christmas for the last week lol
  16. It's been in my head for about 12 years that i will one day own a mog!! That day has come haha
  17. Will collect any timber in and around Preston,Leyland,Blackpool,Garstang and Lancaster. Can move upto about 6-8 ton at a time via mog+trailer. Will take Hardwood or Softwood cord or arbwaste. PM or call me on 07702788870 cheers
  18. I've got two zombies that drag brash for me!! I also feel like shooting them from time to time too
  19. Was removed from the bay someone delt on it Never mind:sneaky2:
  20. What it all boils down to is wether it is deemed as ratable space. Put your building up have your chip pile and if the planning department reckons it needs change of use they'll tell you. If you get a visit and assessed that some of your buildings are ratable then they will tell you. If you can prove its been there for longer than 10 years you will get retrospective planning and they cant make you change it anyway. I found that trying to do the right thing generally costs you money and hassle.
  21. Cheers Pete but i am to Arb what Ned Clampet is to Beverley Hill's Ithink your machines are somewhat out of my price range and besides it just wouldn't feel right not having to spanner it on a weekly bassis
  22. That confirms my thoughts guys many thanks. I'm actually on the lookout for a propper pto chipper the mog aswell maybe a 10" jensen or 9" tp.
  23. Can anyone confirm that this is an exenco chipper. What diameter timber will they take? I'm sure it won't be 10" as stated. I've got a u900 coming next week was thinking this might make a good looking vintage setup with some tlc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pto-Woodchipper-wood-chipper-/331037439846?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d135e7766
  24. Yeah but you don't know what my target roadside price is do you??? I never said i sell the timber did i?? My roadside price is what i want to buy the timber at.
  25. I think this could be a good thing. Maybe a members only section for timber sales and a seperate one for timber wanted. Peaple could also put up bit's of arb waste or even sell timber right off the job.
