  1. All good here matey. Good to hear from you. The airsofting looks fun. Used to have a G19 and USPc gas blowback back in the day!
  2. Who's this guy?
  3. Good point. Wish I'd thought of it...
  4. The only real danger is when an agry groundy sends that lump if steel flying up at your face. It's a good job the lads I work with are pretty chilled or I wouldn't be able to eat solids!
  5. Tachyon seems okay. Bit bouncy but not bad with a top anchor. How'd your yew topping go Steve?
  6. Yup, just watch that the hitch is also short enough so it doesn't touch the wrench when engaged. 70cm works for me. Hate to break it to you but that's a 3/3 VT
  7. Not if you have a dremel.
  8. It does. You continue to enploy those people who meet that criteria!
  9. Shuttup. I have loads left!
  10. Nothing's changed. AP is still the dogs. Lovely to splice too.
  11. Then tell him that! Sounds like he should appreciate what he's getting.
  12. In business? Absolutely sod all. I expect their friendship is the reason the bloke is being paid very well for essentially a brash dragger.
  13. Not really. Because of the elastic you never feel it's there, unless it snags on a branch. Since you don't rally limb walk as much it doesn't seem to get in the way.
  14. If he tries it on a rec climb he'll decide not to use it at work. At least on a job you have to get it done!
  15. To be honest if he has nor rigging experience and isn't competent in ariel rescue you're probably over paying him as it is.
  16. Actually most of the time I just disconnect the ascender if I'm gonna be using it a fair bit. Keep it attached to your foot and HC. If it's getting in the way I just clip the top and bottom together and onto the back of my saddle.
  17. Haha yes! I remember you posting a photo of that unit before!
  18. I pay a fiver for just the outside, £12 inside and out with a wheel shine. What is it you intend to do for £80 a day buddy?
  19. I've been tempted to chuck my cat up a tree, little ponce.
  20. The guy I posted about is after rookie climbers, so it's ideal.
  21. 'Ere you go: https://www.facebook.com/Smith-Tree-Solutions-212090572266383/
  22. There's a company in Vienna looking for team leaders, climbers, and second climbers. Damien Smith is the boss. Seems like a sound bloke. Almost took a job out there a few years ago. They supply accommodation, kit etc. they also seem pretty hot on new techniques and gear, so you won't be lumped with a bit of 3 strand and an old weaver saddle.
  23. I've said that exact thing many times on here. Then I went and bought one anyway. 11mm rope runs sweet
  24. Yup. Also rated for single line use as a secondary point.
