  1. Nothing wrong with innovation mate, it's how technology progresses. Might as well have said "why not just drill a hole on a stone!"
  2. Just ask for an epi-removal
  3. All apart from the unspecified clearance from the building.
  4. Bloody snitch
  5. Just be a stubborn git. You'll get through any moments of doubt or anxiety by gritting your teeth and pushing past your mental boundaries. The alternative is backing out and coming down. This will invariably make it harder for the next climb. Eventually you'll push through your mental block.
  6. I thought it was "one toke over the line, sweet Jesus?" God question, glad I'm not the only one who gets a line stuck on repeat! Usually a song my girlfriend has been listening to. Gets irritating!
  7. Hitch cord will gain memory over extended use, meaning it won't release easily when load is removed. Couple that with dirt and gunk and there's your problem. Use a fresh cord. It'll cost less than £2
  8. If you were previously using a swing cheek pulley the pinto will be forcing the legs further apart at the fishermans knots, thus essentially shortening the hitch. Try some fresh cord, slightly longer. Frankly, a pinto pulley is wasted as a slack tender on a lanyard though. I'd just buy an ART Positioner
  9. He didn't mean to. He was clearly using a smaller bar for the face cut, and over cut the centre of the hinge with the nose. Bloody poor work IMO.

Oh god, since Jon left Steve has come back. Better the devil...

To be honest I think the forum hasn't been as enjoyable in a long time. Lots of interesting threads, and good contributions. Probably gonna ruffle some feathers, that.
  12. I own the Tekichu and use a Big shot at work. They don't get used often, and are pretty similar. I reckon the Big Shot will get more reach. The Stein one folds flat but really that's just a gimmick. Much of a muchness really.
  13. I have a HND in Hort which I thought was level 3?
  14. I'd consider it, cept I don't have a level 2z
  15. Yes, very.
  16. Ah, who was it?
  17. Link?
  18. Stats are that the Echo is lighter with more power, Paul. It's all irrelevant if they've lumped it with an insufficient cutting gear.
  19. Nah, that's the 150. The heavy chain ruins it for me.
  20. Top work, great tune, and as always, fantastic hair. Nice one mate. Was the pull line on a winch?
  21. Pretty sure that's against the rules bro
  22. Well it made me smile!
  23. So what kind of kit do you find to be replacing the most. Obviously chains/fuel/oil are all budgeted for, but if you're replacing ropes etc more frequently than needed that'll add up. You should easily get a year out of ppe. Climbing kit should last longer than that, same as rigging kit. If machines are regularly breaking or getting replaced you'd need to look at why.
  24. What is your weekly net target for a team of lads? 2 or 3 man team?
