  2. Do you guys enjoy the constant tweaking and adjusting? It's what made me switch to mechanical, I really like the idea of the HH but the constant adjustments put me off a wee bit.. Or have you found the right set up and are trying things for fun ?

  13. Like said before bang a throwline into and basetie, you'll eventually get one In that runs down the backside.. Im sure you'd rather do that than spike up it and have to cut all the ivy off...
  14. When I was out in NZ we used to set up work/ comp climbs round the tree and just take turns getting round it.. People who wanted to be timed got timed and if you just wanted to have a jolly and do it in your own time you did. It will soon get your speed up and it's fun, we even had a 17 stone unit groundy up there doing the works climb which was awesome to watch. then after we drink beer...
  15. Cougar is a weird rope I think batches vary in quality, I had cougar blue which was amazing very static and never milked too much also really stiff which was good for the SJ , i also climbed on cougar puke at two different companies with 25m - 65m ropes and it milked like hell and was more bouncy... There is a cougar orange on treestuff now as well... But some people have had some quality cougar puke of here so who knows ? but at the end it all I would buy blue again
  16. Swimming Lots of core work, abs support lower back Press ups... Bring Sally up challenge is good. Do 1 press up stand up go straight back down do 2 press ups etc etc if you can get to over 10'your doing something right At the moment I'm doing a lot of rock climbing and am right into bouldering.. Great for strength
  17. I like wearing approach / hiking boots my last pair from decathlon were super comfy more than my Airstreams... Just don't drop anything on your toes.. For pruning I think they are way better
  18. I fancy a positioner but I often have my lanyard on my bridge when doing change overs , and then I ascend using my lanyard... Can a positioner be used like this as main life support? Ta Arran
