  1. Works fine i use this set up with the same stein cambium saver, this topic has also been covered before have a search on it.
  2. I know of a German retailer that will sell these for €60 (=£50) +postage which is €17.50 (=£15) to the UK. Postage to the Netherlands is €9. so I thought I could bring a loaf back with me (going over for a bit this weekend) but then sending them in the UK for less than £5 would be a bit hard, so for £65 you can all get your own. Fiskars Spaltaxt X27 92 cm 2600 g Axt 778032 NEUHEIT (6411501225009) | eBay I have no ties with this here vendor, I did enquire about a bulk discount or discounted postage but the man says no. Thank you Rover Received mine from the above source £65 that's including delivery and only had to wait four days.

  6. We have a tw150 dhb and 150 vtr both work well for us though they are let down on build quality the chassis on the vtr has already cracked! and has done the same on my mates so shows its a poor design. Plus you have the bearing issue. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
  7. I think he's spot on with price we are a two man team we charge 500 a day thats for 1 climber 1 groundy truck and chipper. But alot of our jobs are priced, but if its a big job week or more we do it by day rate. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2

  10. what do you guys rate the sandvik cutting head? are they as good as people say and how do they compare to the multi-tip etc.
  11. I've used LSEngineers alot lately and have been very pleased with the service nice laid out website to.
  12. A few oaks I've come across first pic is of an old oak pollard which we gave a light reduction and removed any dead wood as it was on a golf course second tree was nxt to the first tree and had split out so we reduced the remaining tree to balance it back up still doing well four years on.
  13. weather mainly and not a great deal on the books at the mo! so all can wait until the sun shines.
  14. Honesty is defo the best policy and good for you for being this way thats what our job is all about advicing customers to do the best thing for them and the tree, ye sure you may lose work but in the long run your be better off and customers will repect you for being honest with them.
