  3. Ye great book got it when i first started helped point out and learn a good few things, id also say it's worth downloading the arbtalk knot guide app loads of arb knots with easy to follow instructions.
  4. Ye he must be around 54 now still climbs every day tho works for a guy called Oli field. Ive seen you guys around as we carry out work for Pontypool park estate.

  6. I don't own a landrover or stihl t-shirt and only have one krab on my harness I work long hours as that's what i've been brought up to do.

My dad set the company up I joined him full time when I was twenty would of been before but I contract climbed for different firms as my dad told me it would benefit me learning different skills and ways to tackle different jobs from different Tree company's! But really he just didn't want a head strong young lad telling him what to do.. (UNDERSTANDABLE) once I joined him full time we slowly expanded with more work and bigger and better kit. But its all down to my dad and the company will always be named after him.

  11. Hi after a few customs wanting rough ground cleared i'm looking into buying a flail mower, what i would like to know is how much to charge for using it, it will go behind my case 85hp tractor. Is it best to charge per hour or per acre? or just give a price for the job? thanks for any help.
  12. You should be looking for a 4x4 tractor with front loader something like 85hp plenty about, but the ideal tool is the mog or county.

  20. Just a couple of old forestry pics of my Dad and his brother and yes that little lad is me.
  21. Powells forest & garden between hereford and Abergavenny they have a wide selection of arb gear.
  22. Im no experts on trailer prices but just bought a twin axle tilt bed brian james trailer lovely condition from orange plant for £500.00 for the trcked chipper so going on this £1000 for the one in question does sound abit step.
  23. Cheers mate big days July 28th this year, off to benidorm on the 14th for my stag should be fun bad thing is i miss the arb show.
