  1. Customers, full stop!
  2. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/35271-splicing-workshop.html
  3. Can anyone tell me "how legal" it is to burn brash on site?
  4. I was most amused actually! Even more so, when after what I'd considered was obvious "baiting" the discussion went straight to "ag regs and cherry"
  5. well, that was a stupid remark on my part then wasn't it:biggrin: I meant no critique on your contraption, I just enjoy trying to make things simpler and easier, especially on home-made stuff. I often end up making horribly complicated contraptions to "make things easier" though:biggrin:
  6. Great looking bit of kit you built, like the pedal swithgear. I often use a big Simba cultipress and it uses very simply clamp-on collars around the main lifting ram for depth adjustment. Imagine a big peg pegged on the cylinder with chamfered inner edges to protect the seal. There's three different widths for endless combinations for fine tuning. Edit: Would it not have been easier to just drill some holes in the H-beam for different hights of R-clippage?
  7. Tank vent on mine blocks with German punctuality...
  8. I looked at the title of this thread and thought I was gonna see a vid of these Identical twins having an ms200 deathmatch. dissapointed...
  9. Actually, it's a "Northern Viking freezing his bollocks off after 40 miles of Ice-skating" kind of beard, but yes, the two styles are quite similar:lol:
  10. Sorry, that's come out a bit big, nearly 1/3 of life size!
  11. Frosty beard...
  12. And have a very clever 3D printer...
  13. I wish I'd look twelve when clean shaven! I just look like a weathered old git with a fat head when I shave, whereas with a beard I just look like a weathered old git.
  14. I might be wrong here, but I'm not normally...\ The way I read it it says they can only send out to pro users after proof of training or "known customers". If you go to Redruth and say:" Hi all I'm Big T!" (and get a quick tour of your chosen machine) you'll be a "known user" surely and should be ok to buy whatever Stihl has to offer via mr Jones and associates? If that's not it, how does one become a known customer? Does it take a lunchtime date with Justin? a week in the Maldives together? when do you know someone?
  15. Well done monsieur Bolam, you've now lead us from a pointless discussion with some novelty factor to a pointless discussion that's been had a 1000 times before:lol:
  16. Surely people who drive white transits have diplomatic imunity from any form of prosecution?
  17. My wife's the opposite. When I shave (on average 1.3 times a year:001_smile:) I'm not allowed in the bed before all the lights are off.
  18. I'd fit it myself, if she says I'm allowed. My dad had a couple af range rover's on lpg recently, but both 3.9's (and both died horrible rattly deaths) so I wondered if there's much differnce between the 3.5 and the 3.9? It would not be a new kit, too expensive especially if vehicles like these cost less than just a conversion. My time is quite cheap, a lot cheaper than the mech's time anyway. I also enjoy mucking about with cars and such but have no experience with LR's so...
  19. Do you want to shave, really, at this time of year? I could provide you with a pic either way, you call it:biggrin:
  20. Hi Experts, How easy would it be to convert a 3.5V8 to lpg, and how much would it cost? I know it may shorten the longevity of the engine a tad but would like one for near base and short trips so not that relevant?. There's all those "snatch" lr's sitting in Colsterworth, and they seem a good start for building up a tough vehicle but they're all fitted with the 3.5 V8. Thanks, Daniel Ps, the wife/camp commander keeps my wallet so suggestions of "just get a £6K 130" shall be laughingly ignored.
  21. I bet they'll be drier after a week out of the water than they were a week after they were felled.
  22. Nice Truck:thumbup1: Eager to see underground green-laning pics as well:biggrin: What is the gizmo near the ignition, in the fifth pic?
  23. I bet you do too, considering:"Trees, the most deadly vegetation on the planet!"
  24. I once caught a guide-rope of a big electric stick, it gave the wires a nice litttle tug and snapped them off the wall of the boss' house, 6 poles further:001_smile: They were there and gone agin within the hour. I offered to foot the bill when it would come as it was a stupid mistake I made and I've yet to see it. (4years +)
  25. UK Land and Farms - Woodland for sale | UK woodlands | invest in woodland They can be usefull. You can set up search parameters and when anything within those pops up you automatically recieve an email. When searching for land we used it and found it quite handy.
