Very Much like the idea of Mistajays pallet sawhorse. That's a nice temporary setup that can become firewod when the job is done. Brilliant.

Get field gates blocked all the time. Always for people "going for a walk". When I say there is plenty of parking at a farm cafe 150m away or a pub 750m away they look at you like you are mad.... "we just want to go for a walk" apparently not that far though. Let alone where they are parked being private property. re:moving cars. Told by a ex PC mate of mine not to. It's a potential minefield ..incl criminal damage etc. Not interested in the aggro. Plenty of that around already.

I got an MS230 of a mate that had worn out anti-vibe rubbers after using something like "Screwfix item no. 5256D " I think having the saw attached encourages people to force the saw through the job.

I use the spray attachement in like this filled with petrol....old toothbrush, mask and goggles.. Clears most things.. Air Tool Spray Kit 5 Pieces | Air Tools | Screwfix.com

Keen Yes. Shame, for me it's a potential 60 mile round trip around the M25 which isn't on my wish list. Firewood...in the stove...smells lovely, burns like fury

The best I have used is some brake caliper paint on an old villiers chainsaw. It can take the heat, dirt and oil. Needs a bit of prep. I borrowed mine but I know it isn't cheap. Don't know about Blue! have seen .....Red, Yellow even Orange (Danarm) i.e. Foliatec Brake Caliper Paint and Engine Lacquer | Demon Tweeks

I've had my X27 a couple of years...paid more than £50... but as others have said, it is far better than it feels it ought to be. I think the fact the shaft is so light and all the weight is in the head makes it a little like swinging a conker. Very little stuff gets past it. And yes it ploughs through stuff my old maul would either get stuck in or bounce off. I think on the basis that i have lent it to mates to try Fiskarss have sold at least 5 more. Should have been on commission. Now if they made chainsaw chains!!!!! -

I can recommend the X17 Big enough for two hands when needed and light enough to use single handed as a large hatchet. Just as efficient at the X27 just lighter/smaller. Bob
