  1. Good Morning Nice quandary to be in Pete. Which beach. I will be suffering the 20mph zone from Chessington to Richmond. P.s. all the chat about the 880's. Ran my 881 yesterday evening with 46" .404 to start milling an Oak butt for a mate. With moto-mix and de-comp. No issues. Ran a 42" lopro on the 661 and it threw nose sprockets like discus. Might try a longer bar but would defo have to go skip or hyper-skip as I don't think it'd pull it. Stay dry good gentlemen.
  2. Sometimes "good" just doesn't cut it! :-)
  3. Good Morning An adventure to Richmond upon Thames beckons Hope we don't get too much rain. Have a splendid day.

Love my 261C -2015- Mine has a 16" bar and I've never felt the need for more. Heavy on fuel? I wouldn't say so. 2 tanks to every one of oil. Certainly not as juicy as the 881 on a mill. Drinks like Olly Reed P.s. mines ported (2021) and that has made no real change to thee fuel or bar choice.
  5. Good Morning Have a safe one.

  10. Not had any sizeable Sw Chestnut but it is so Oak like I'd love to have a crack. I've got 2 x 70cm by 2.9 m Oak butts tomorrow and the smell of the sawdust will be like heaven.
  11. Have fun. I am looking forward to a days milling tomorrow. First for many months. Prep is everything, but that first cut. Exposing the inner beauty still gives me the God feeling as I'm the first to see it apart from him. Sorry for the derail.
  12. Good Moaning! Looks like it'll be a cracker. Got two Oak butts to mill. Making space before I start. Have fun.

    Logosol f2

I had aspirations to purchase F2 as the thought of being able to take it away for security was very appealing. I had issues with M8 being set up and attracting unwanted interest and interference. Your situation sounds idea for F2 and the leap in price to a bandsaw (for me) would be a big problem. I hope your luck improves.
  16. Good Morning. Sorry missed yesterday. Running too late and have to be rolling by 06:50. Have aa good one.

And.... I have always wanted a new F2 and so if they are a bit unworthy...I'll stick with my Panther Chainsawmill. 👍

alles ist gut. Understood. Safety is No1. I have had no cause to question my Mill or its engineering before. Both were second hand ( not new) where yours does look new. I would be asking my dealer this question.

Apologies I might have been unduly harsh. I have not had any issue with nuts bolts of hex sockets on any of the mills I have or had.

    Logosol f2

Hello Bot I have owned and used a Logosol M8 and have a big mill. Both produced timber of suitable quality. It IS NOT a BANDSAW and and cannot be compared as such. Quality is extremely high in comparison to other offerings from the far east.
  21. Good Morning Back to it. Have a smashing one.
  22. Stamp was good at being bad, but not as good as Charles Dance. Hope I haven't jinxed it.
  23. Living the Dream.
  24. Good on you Jase. Good Morning Made it to the end of another one. Have fun.
  25. Good Morning Restless again. Padding around the house and saw Doe and 2 fawns outside. Managed to get this Fawn before they wandered off. Have a good one.
