  1. Morning Cold in full bloom Sweaty night and rough day ahead, then it'll be over. Have a good one. Nearly the weekend!
  2. Morning Brewing up a cold. Tough day ahead. Have a good one.
  3. Morning Back in the saddle for another week. Sorry to hear @peds we got away lightly with a slightly damaged Dorking Cockerel. Hoping the milder weather with provide Fox with an alternate food source, but suspect he'll be back until we've been cleaned out. Like before. Have a good one.
  4. Morning Another sharp one. Logs out and rest. Be safe.
  5. Morning Gas ran out overnight....brrrr Cockerel attacked by hungry fox (assumed). He's shaken but still sh@gging so no lasting damage. What's next? Have a wonderful weekend.
  6. I'm O/H fed for fibre. Cable looks as robust as the old copper coated steel dropwire. Also thinking of the abuse the ruggedised patch leads that I used for years. I think it'll do ok. Especially as it won't be impacted by water ingress. Branches across them, might be a whole new kettle of fish. Wire had a bit of stretch to it, glass not so much. Minds greater than mine have made the decision to go that direction. Hoping for my pensions sake they haven't farked up.
  7. True. I left in 2005 and have recently gone back. Now on a project to rationalise copper customers. Yes, the long game will be to have empty or emptier buildings. Due to complete in 2027, which could be a tad overoptimistic. Lets see, p.s. I'm NOT Openreach :-)
  8. Superstar... I have googled it several times. The only sites I found were subscription ones, or were chucking up warnings from the AV. Many thanks. All power to you.
  9. Cheers @GarethM I'd seen that. Was rather hoping for a PDF copy I could have on the tablet. When I'm in the shed and too far from wi-fi.
  10. Hi All, I have taken on a bit of a project. All was going well but I've come a cropper on the handle and throttle parts. It's in bits and I didn't lay it out or photo it well enough. Can anyone DM / PM me a pdf copy? Please. Bob
  11. Speed is regulated on the equipment. Once you get fibre you can change the speed later.
