  1. Slightly dulled small drills can be sharpened on some emery paper on a flat surface done it on jobs when no grinder on job.
  2. You can't adjust it and if you look at picture there is a gap at the top so I cut a piece off the bottom so it sat lower so when log go's through smaller pieces at bottom are split off then put top pieces through again.
  3. This is is the 4 way knife on my Riko 25T splitter just drops over knife. Also you could mount a mirror to see how things are going like the ones used on blind entrance.
  4. To right when I worked for someone had cable snap more then once and it would just coil up and hit floor but once when a strop snapped right near shackle it sent shackle back like a missile.

Had s trailer snake on me many years ago, it was loaded with straw the person I was working for used a loader which would put 40 small bales a time on a trailer so 40 on from side at front then 40 from the back. Front ones were a lot heavier going down the road it didn't feel right then it happen down a slight hill hitting banks on both sides of the road missed 2 cars coming the other way and then stopped on it's wheels and all bales on the trailer.

  11. I do not think it can be classed as tractor to much modified, we're as valtra used standard tractor and got 70mph out off it.

  13. Bought 2 of them the best ones is in desert camo a lot heavier material but they were advertised as gortex but not some other waterproof material. Have just bought a Hoggs of Fife struther smock for when it turns a bit colder
  14. Isn't robinia one of the trees resistant to honey fungus.

  17. Stump grinders go blunt when you hit dirt, and aren't a lot of grinders on tracks.
  18. When I bore holes on hard ground I add tractor weights to auger frame to get more down force so would do the same.

  20. The biggest problem this time of year it's dark early we get back from a days work have no idea who is watching us unload kit they can be stand any where near by and you would not see them. What Matty has said is not unusual because if they want it they will get it one way or another. Chaining stuff down may not be the answer to stop them taking chipper taking the wheels off and locking them up maybe better and takes about same time as removing chains and other bits and pieces.

  22. Look up Mora draw knife should do the job, there knifes hold a good edge for s long time.
