  5. Don't know about spray but paint some railings I put up and it's 10 years since I did then and only a couple of bits of rust coming through. Had 2 coats on to weathered steel.

Quoted for a job involving environment agency they said timber had to be tanalith treatment I asked if Celcure treatment was ok and there answer was it's equally as good treatment has got better in the last 5 years. Vilsa treated timber is good. What ever he buys it will cost the same to put it in the ground just depends if he wants to do it again in 5_10 years or 20_30 years.
  10. The answer is pretty obvious but not easy do to the circumstances, it's up to church wardens to tell person how planted tree that it's got to come down and why. May be easy as she was s tree surgeons daughter should or maybe understand why.

  14. Turns out oil pump has thrown belt and oil pump no longer available so new engine needed. I am good at mechanic's and fabrication so was thinking has anyone fit diesel engine.

  16. Braking down large Ash trunk for firewood for customer should of took big splitter but can't get all on truck and trailer. Little Oxdale did great.

  20. Electric start and It turns over very easily compared to normaly.
  21. Got a little timberwolf 18/100 with Kohler trad 18 on it, ran it yesterday for a job today got on site started it gave it a little rev's to warm up and it just cut out. Now seams to have no compression any idea what it could be.

You can move a large piece of wood in water but when it gets to bank it's another kettle of fish. 20m cable should be ok as long as you have a extention rope you can shorten by knotting or different lengths of slings. If you want to take hard work out of job find someone how has land rover with winch and likes to play.
  24. Depending how much you rut it. Would take pictures first as horses do make a mess of them anyway.

My uncle use to do kindling he got his from timber specialist how did moulded stuff and planed he would just sit trailer there and they would just chuck it on and I mean that it would hang over sides, front and back just had to cut it back. My brother went to there new place the other week and they now stick every thing waste through chipper and it goes bio mass. Roof truss company is a good place remember working near one a couple of years ago and they had two 10T agricultural trailers sat in yard someone turned up with old Ford 6600 and took them away he stopped and asked what was happening to firewood as he ran kindling business and firewood.
