  1. All depends on the budget he has in mind £200,£300 or £400+. Worth a look is Echo small range of saws,
  2. Seen only a couple of TP chippers in my area but would agree look good machines. Bit strange Timberwolf make big chippers then stopped. If you need large chipper got to go foreign.
  3. Or a Vermeer BC1000 spoke to a couple of companies that run them behind 7.5t lorries and do street trees and chip everything.
  4. Just found which Hitachi it was I hire about 3 years ago it was a ZX17U-6, go's down to 980mm wide but is zero tail as well. So not as micro as I thought just remember you pull tracks in and knock ends of dozer off.
  5. Is it Hitachi that make a 1.5t digger with tracks you can retract to make it same width as micro one.
  6. Micro digger or spade you choose, all depends on what's got to be do roots and lots of dirt then micro all day long.
  7. Did that rad come with engine or is it old one,
  8. Was thinking the same, also had sore eye when cutting conifer hedges.
  9. You should know it's not his blue colour. Unless he hasn't got paint brush around it yet.
  10. Even new machine will break down, and yes you have the warranty but still got people standing around.
  11. Cars not trucks, put my 90 land rover reg into their system and cme back not reconsider.
  12. Are you pricing like for like. The timberwolf 160 is a 6inch machine with a small engine and the Forst T6 is a 6inch but which engine and which GreenMech you pricing.
  13. Just book a demo and then decide which one suits your work.
  14. Aren't they a MF under blue paint, bloke near me deals in spares for them, Chris Bright machinary. not seen one in my area for years, last one was on a farm just down the road was a 130 and the old boy how ploughed with it had a downswell 5 furrow on heavy clay.
  15. They used Perkins as well right from the old P6. But like most old timber tractors any engine that fitted went in. My old boss had a Bedford QL that had a Bmc 6 cylinder in.
  16. Would always use my climbing harness, as once got stuck in a Mewp and no one on the ground could sort out problem, So landed up coming down on rope once I changed for full harness to climbing, and as said how many have found it easier to climb out.
  17. Check belt tension, was the problem with mine a couple of years ago.
  18. On most jobs 2mx3m sheet on large jobs builds bag if loader to lift on to truck, just recently by on a couple of big garden jobs and burnt rakings on site.
  19. L&S engineering is probably you best bet they are or where Belle stockists.
  20. Have used them a couple of times for Premier 200. But found them not cheap on timber wolf blades, especially if you keep your eye for special offers with other companies.
  21. Also how many accidents were to do with none roadworthy vehicle on the front and nothing to do with way trailer was loaded.
  22. Did see they were in Italy, and customs is a joke at the moment. Maybe called Summer tyres as that's when you will get them.
