  2. Timber trailer built out of grain trailer then mounted crane on it, and some railings and gates.

  4. Yes i know but in my area there are a couple of them that just keep running towards you when a car is coming the other way and there is not enough room for you to to pull out to let them pass. Had 1 run up the bank along side me and then slip in to car if it was a truck they would have been under the wheel.
  5. When driving and a runner is running towards you, what are they thinking of.

  7. The car and driver makes a big different, most people have not driven in snow/ice or even tort how to drive in it. We have a joke were I live how may police men it take to get a police car out of are road answer is six, 1 driving and 5 pushing taking them a hour and a half to do three quarters of a mile. and the person nextdoor to me had a Audi A2 who drive straight past them with no problem.

  10. I have all ways ran a Landy first was a 109 series 2A which still stands in the next village then a 110 ex mod which was a cracking truck now its a 130 tipper. I only travel short distance for work but in me work land rover is the only truck which works for me. In all the times i have ran them only had 2 clutch's a few UJ's Swivels on front axle and 1 Diff. O and the odd bit of welding if you look after them they may look after you, but all truck break down at some point.
  11. Good idea, but if they are large enough bits of wood why not just use rams and drag wood up them.
  12. Will depend on what size load you want to sell.
  13. Just bear in mind you will not be able to switch bars easily from stihl to husky if you ever need were as if you run all husky, also some big 300 range huskys run same spare part. I run a husky 362xp with a 372 pot on it and run a .325 bar/chain at 24 inch pulls it no problem. For just the odd cut now and again just double cut cheaper by far.
  14. Make sure it a camera which will take a face on picture as ESSEX police told me last week its all they want to catch them. HA HA HA. before anyone else.
  15. About 7 years ago I had a garden which i had felled a lot of tree in so owner could build a new house trees were sycamores willow hazels and laurels. Once house was built 1 of the neighbours had a woodland order put on the rest of the garden were there was Oaks Ash and other very nice trees so we decided which trees we wanted TPO's put on and got tree officer out there to look and decide if we could get woodland order lifted and he was quite happy to lift it, we did leave 1 tree off the list we had put together so he thought he also had a say in what had TPO's .
  16. AA did say yesterday clear snow from cars/vans or face fine and penalty points on your licence. Person on roof is even a bigger no.
  17. If you stop breathing pain go's. Cracked ribs with a cold is not fun.
