  7. When i first started rock climbing about 7 years ago i always thought doing tree work would of help me, but its quite the opposite really, kind of makes you better in the tree, best of luck with the cs38 mate, just do what you've been practising and you will be fine buddy.
  8. Just read through a couple of L200Log's old posts and it does seem to me he this is one massive wind up, but i thought i would do the decent thing and share my views and opinions and help him out, shame it has gone to waste, on someone who in my opinion needs to find something better to do other than waste my time. and everyone else who has put some input into it. your lucky i don't know your address else i would send you my bill, (CHILD) Grow up and find another forum to mok.......................

  10. Holy Quockomoly!!!!! that didn't go to well did it
  11. thats ok mate, yes buddy i have NPTC certs and lantra awards, i've been climbing for 12 years now. can't believe you've been climbing for 14 years on that crappy rope if your not familiar with anything or have a question on something just have a look in the search bar at the top and search for what you want to find out, then if your still unsure then just ask mate were all hear to help. as for rope i'm climbing on both new england tachyon with a lock jack, and marlow aries running a hich climber pulley and klemheist friction hitch, both with rope guides (makes the ropes glide through the pulley with ease ), i've got the kolobri harness which is very comfy, but each to there own mate everyone has different tastes and every climber has his ways good luck on the training side mate think it might be an eye opener for you. Adam

  15. are you NPTC certified, are you self employed or employed, i think you need to do some research mate, and have a look at a whole new climbing kit. other than just a rope. you sure this aint a wined up....? Harness from a BT engineer ??????
  16. sorry what happened to freedom of speech...... i was just kidding:sneaky2: nice one james looks like she was in need of a bit of a reduction. as for the other (Fellow tree surgeons that were working next to you)

( my old man did this about 15 years ago ) as for the free climbing bit don't you think you should consider going on a climbing refresher course just to see what new gear and systems there are, its much safer and easier with the new systems these days you could well benifit from a course alot.
