  3. sorry to butt in on the conversation! but why would you have to push you gear to the limits i'm happy lowering 250kg of wood all day because i know i would not be over working my equipment but to snatch load 500kg of anything unless done real well is just burning a hole in your pocket....in my opinion anyway:001_smile: Adam

  5. Once its set up mate its quick, and the rescue... if ever needed is very efficent, well worth a try anyway you never know mate it could be for you.

  7. the fungus i THINK is Auricularia auricula-judae (Jews Ear) which is common on elder, beech and some sycamores, and is a deadwood fungi, the scars may have come from a lighting strike which i've seen locally to.

  9. the yew is slightly man made but the ash log was natures art at its best for me anyway....

  17. Great Job Mate, Great Job With The Crane....... But the cedar i would of climbed as well....... 1 question though which some one might of asked (sorry if you have)...why was there a stien lowering device on the cedar when you just mashed the top out in a big section.....or was that just for the shiny show....
