  1. just for clarification i dont have the issue with ascending SRT as i think its well worth the time, its just the constant adjustments i make in DdRT would take you twice as long with the RW in SRT.......or am i really missing something???
  2. ha and this is exactly why have not bought one yet.........i've read this thread from back to front, start to finish, upside down inside out and still can't find a valid reason why i would even bother buying one, i just don't see how it could make things simple and quicker.......call me colour blind but i think we maybe going backwards on this one ...... (abuse waiting)
  3. Nintendo falteimer game cube all day for me, had it nearly 8 years and its still in great shape.....
  4. Just bought a pair of these ESS Goggles - Protective Goggles - Ballistic Goggles - Eye Protection from my local military store and i have to say i am very impressed, they do not make you sweat nor do they steam up, and also have 3 coloured lens to choose from......best pair i have ever bought i think.....

  8. This was taken a couple years back, before Maisy was born, and me and Alex had a life....lol....almost to the summit of Kinder scout on a very foggy day, navigation had to be top notch.....this red grouse had walked straight past us several times darting in and out of the heather, that was until i nearly trip over him...Can you see him???

  17. the DMM has heaps of excuses to buy it just for the shear fact that its sexy as hell, but we have had this discussion before ??? in fact more than once,...the ISC pulley has been, tried, tested, abused, tickled, and destroyed it is a legendary pulley and even DMM can not take that away from them, its is a shame there not of similar price, then we could see who favours what just on sales......at the end of the day they both get the job done and done very well indeed..... let us know what you choose and why.... Adam
  18. awesome work once again mate, got to say i do envy you being in BC its a whole new world let alone country...... have not had much time to get on here lately but do pop in from time to time and seeing your video has made my night..... take it easy
  19. carbon all the way, and leather straps for me to, tried the velcro ones out and to be honest i just could not get them tight enough...... saying that i used to own a pair of alloy bashlins with double top pads and they were very comfy.
  20. fits sweet mate, the only thing i would say it to cut and file down the original scapard side belt loops they make it to wide, other than that.......A1:thumbup:
  21. Awesome video nice rigging and lovely set ups, look forward to part 2....
  22. looks nice and great idea on the 2 buttons but i think to be totally safe it still needs that twist locking mechanism to support those issues that have been addressed so far, you could argue its only 2 way or 3 way depending if you view opening the gate as 1 way, the petzl ball lock is good and i myself have never had an issue with them, and it has the twist.......
  23. Can't believe they used the Batman theme music by hans zimmer.......i don't like that tune now....... interesting find though.....
  24. i watched the video.......then i had a gander at the buzz replies, and this one kinda sums it up for me..... near balance point rigging' this expression sounds like the kind of thing a corporate advertising/marketing company would come up with to try to sell a pointless product or idea to an unsuspecting public. It sounds like the kind of contrived BS a yuppie would say to try and impress his idiotic friends, 'hey guys, I'm just gonna do some near balance point rigging, you wanna check it out?' expressions like 'near balance point rigging' need to be driven out out of our industry before we all turn into a bunch of half baked intellectuals spouting drivel about our work to try and make it sound more impressive when in actual fact its nothing more than normal rigging dressed up as something more complex....................................... and these are my words........ when the word NEAR is mentioned in our industry its not good, it brings in quotes like NEAR Miss, NEAR Accident witch is not good......if your going balance the limb then get it right, if not hold on tight. Sorry everyone but freedom of speech is well worth it when it comes to newbies reading and watching videos like this even if there is a little flaming involved....
