  9. Personally speaking if you fancied a challenge at first but In the long run a massive improvement, I would look at investing in a ART spiderjack, with a pulleysaver as your cambium saver. Go and check out spiderjackery 2 video on YouTube, it's a full tutorial Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  18. Iv used a stihl hi-flex jacket for about 6 years now and I have to say it's very durable, I ripped or once but that was my folt, it isn't waterproof so that's somthing to think about and it is abit hot for this time of year, but who wears a jacket at the moment anyway, I couldn't recommend it enough, slightly expensive but doesn't matter if it lasts you 6 years, I might replace it with a pfanner stretch air one next if I can bring myself to spend the money. 19. They that rubbish mate? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Yea I have used two ropes when needed, for instances like you point out. I'm not against that at all, it's the big tree reductions or small come to think about it I can see it been fiddly, I guess since using SRT for all my climbing I just put a redirect in where I once might have used another rope, I dunno, I'm sure plenty will disagree with me haha Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. I can be as pally as it takes........ Well there are limits Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Did have to stop a job the other day because I snapped my shoe lace but that's besides the point!! Jokes aside I'm still not convinced yet Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Just read the other thread on this subject, and it has again come up on my Instagram account after posting a video of my co climber not using a second tie in point during cutting, I can see the benefits in some instances of having 2 lines such as way out on a branch with no other tie in points around apart from the one that your on, but like in my video that branch was dead! Haha so two lines would be good. BUT and this is a big one, in his country anyway no one has the time or money on a job to let it take longer, this is what 2 lines would shorly do, just take too long, and probably more tiring after, I could be wrong but that's my opinion. 24. As the title says I'm just wondering if they are going to be hitting the shops at all soon? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
