  1. right well lidl are doing 'roo steaks at the mo' so i thought i'll give that a go question is whats best to have them with? got em defrosting in the fridge for tomorrows dinner any idea whats best to accompany them?

  5. no its not, someone really needs to do some industry specific research, might be ok if you use drills etc but saws seems unworkable at times, course an unscrupulous person might just take their meter off when the levels met
  6. you might be surprised by vibration levels on pro kit all but one of our stihls has a red tag based on our traffic light system green-low, orange-med, red-high vibration, one of our guys used up his daily points qouta (with reactec meter) in 12 minutes with an ms660!, all our kit gets tested and tagged before issued, pole saw is shockingly high!

HAVS test very hard to cheat im afraid, we get monitered for it regularly with a questionare so that you could lie through yer teeth but if you have the full test it will find it if you have it, there are various staged and having it doesn't neccesarily mean you will get taken of the tools, recently we have started using reactec Home monitering system some of our guys who have HAVS just have a lower number of points they can use in a day (i would add the dam things keep dropping off the saws though! )
  8. hate couriers! had one claim i signed for an item when i was 20 miles away at work at the time 3 days later found it was in the shop downstairs from me but not so much as a card through my door!!

  10. hope it turns up, saw someones full kit saw,climbing gear the lot in the back of an escort wi no parcel shelf down a dark road beside a coupla pubs one night, always wondered if it was still there at the end of the night!

  14. AA ha! i went shopping one night when i went in there was an AA guy trying to get in to a defender was a big shop i was doin so about an hour later i came out and there he was still no into it! i mean a defender!!!!

  16. i feel at my best with around 4/5 hours sleep but most days i get 6/7 anything more and i jus feel like i cant be bothered when i wake up

  18. spoke to a guy who said in aberdeen they used to find alot of needles chucked into forks in the trees, thankfully in edinburgh they're quite lazy and chuck em on the ground, worst areas are kings stables road and calton hill

  21. if you have a college that does ag engineering close to you they might rebuild it for you when i was at the barony we did an engine rebuild as part of the course the guy whose tractor it was was only charged for parts as it was training for us
  22. always used tractol, most paint places have it or check out the ol' ebay
