  2. when im going into a tight spot with ours I knuckle the boom behind the cab gotta mind and steer it now and then though also one advantage of having tractor mounted is you can steer the trailer with it sometimes, found that most usefull when ive had to go into somewhere where there's sod all room to turn around to get out just remember to turn before you load only ever used botex tractor cranes meself so cant comment on any others, as for HP as much as you can squeeze in the space available!

  10. we tried one out, battery flat in 8 mins give it another five years for battery technology to catch up!

  13. really liked the krpan I had a go of with remote we have a farmi and its never been right from day 1 it pulls well but had a lot of hassle from the brake

  18. I have mostly stopped using leather gloves right enough after hearing that prolonged use of them in damp wet conditions was linked to arthritis
  19. wow that takes me back! that's identical to the one we had in the house when I was growing up ours was solid fuel, coal and peat (not much firewood up in the Hebrides ) did the hot water too, I remember my dad pushing it on rollers 80 yards up a slope to the house and getting it in through the doors by himself! was in much worse nick than that and did us years!
  20. always take these cancer causing stories with a pinch of salt (which also has a cancer risk ) seems everything does these days ive come to the conclusion that its over consumption of a thing that may cause an increased risk, as the ol' saying goes everything in moderation

  23. I know I really should but I love my bread my mother calls me a bread fiend not quite as bad as I was right enough crisps are another big weakness of mine but have been doing quite well in staying of them lately time to start exercising the willpower I think!
  24. an old friend of my dad had one to he felt it made a difference i'd forgotten about that till now, don't think id like it meself don't really like things round my wrists don't ever wear a watch
