  1. If one thing history shows is how desperate a dictator is when backed into a corner...
  2. All either sells or burns..i get customers repeatedly trying to haggle my prices but what doesn't sell i burn.
  3. The 2 party system in this country is a complete waste of time. All far too similar in their actions..seem to be empty promises while they feather their own nests.
  4. Fingers crossed lol
  5. Yup still going chilly in the evenings.
  6. There was a study done in America if i remember by a lady where it showed the nitrogen depletion was negligible. It increased only if the woodchip was actively DUG into the surrounding soil but still not worthy of mention. Lady in question had a Doctorate in associated field so not just a speculative assumption.
  7. Had these custom made, 6mm walls and hot dipped, only got them made as the old cappings were knackered.
  8. Have you considered the Mitsubishi Canter? Believe they are still a 3.0 litre engine.
  9. As above. Competent reliable subcontract climber required for ongoing work. Must be competent with rigging and reductions. Thanks Peter- 07825 528 710 [email protected]
  10. No doubt its root system has taken a bashing over the years with compaction but far too early to call..
  11. Only upside to my 130 is its paid for😝
  12. He is in Clitheroe he's a sound lad, good attitude to work and life in general
  13. Had 18mm on the floor of my Land Rover 4 years now and only just started to go through. Matter of unscrew and fit fresh👍
  14. Im finding some laughable quotes given by companies near to me. Its genuinely more profitable to be selling cubes of logs at the moment. Couple of firms are going out for 350-450 a day with 2 men van and chipper.
  15. The chances of it likely falling onto someone may be tiny but hardly looks in the greatest condition. I'd have thought take out and replace would be best option.
  16. Don't do it..😝🙄
  17. You've sold him on it i think Matty😆👍
  18. Not knocking the job they do but in the present climate lots of other folk are struggling who do more difficult jobs for less pay. As I've heard before if you dont like your job get another. What certainly doesn't help as others have stated the NHS is bloated with managers/consultants who aren't needed but then again plenty of large organisations are.
  19. Yes pal he messaged me last week
  20. Working not far from my base at Clitheroe a fortnight since and lad who was climbing for me had an Ms500 and a Husky 550 stolen not 50 yards from where we were working. Couple of days later another local Arb has his Timberwolf stolen from near Skipton. Then just last Thursday a local builder in my village has his new Ifor 10ft taken...this pic matches the vehicle that took the saws from my job. Police underfunded, under-resourced and generally unwilling. Keep a close eye on your kit.
  21. I'd be having to watch 11 overpaid prima donnas kick a football around..🙄
  22. 1986 2140 i lent my farmer mate to get some firewood lined up. Botex tad heavy on the 3point links but now has full weight rack on the front.
  23. Solidur have been excellent
  24. Roughly an IBC full a week, feeding a 20kw Woodwarm stove with back boiler on it.
  25. To be fair in this day and age i know of loads of couples like this where she wanted a "better" life then 6 months later she comes crawling back having realised that they actually had it good😝
