  7. Had it done in the mid 90's walked like John Wayne for a few days followed by an infection. Previous chicken story seems similar to my experience. That said most of mates at the time had little or no problems. Good luck what ever you decide.

  12. If you opt for the compressor set up make sure you control the over spray You wont be popular with the neighbours or wife if wax oil ends up on adjacent cars or windows etc

  14. Hi seeking advice on the best methods on oiling preserving quality teak wood garden furniture. Wood was pressure washed to remove grime last month and now with the dry hot spell seems ideal time to treat. I did read some where that grade A teak does not require treatment if this is the case how would you identify. Many thanks Dennis

  17. I have used both husky and sthil oils on my Husqvarna saws with no problems. I do tend to mix a fuel to oil ratio at 40.1. My old man used to preach after his Saturday nights beer rations "Oil is the best mechanic Lad"

  19. Local dealer may have replaced studs using loctite/ thread lock product. A quality Easy out stud extractors certainly worth a go. Try appling some gentle heat to cylinder flange prior to turning extractor ( remove carb and other items senseative to heat), Be careful when drilling out the stud if you go off center the drill will take the easy option into the alloy. If you can find a pillar drill remove cylinder and drill out Good Luck.

  23. Hi are the brakes binding. Take it for a drive go steady on the brakes pull over and feel centre of wheels. They should all be around the same temperature. Have the filters been changed as per schedule. Possible clutch slip injectors, pump or de-coke required. Try adding redex to your fuel may help Try the simple and cheapest options first:001_smile:
