    Husky 55

Hi Anthony. I run two Husqvarna 55 saws, now obsolete but spares are still available. Early models had no de-compressor. The saw was classed as semi professional bar size 13 -20 inch I have opted to run a 15 Inch set up. To be honest it wont match your new stilhl or Husky models. However both mine have had some serious hammer and have never let me down. A good first saw or spare when the modern racing snakes run out of steam.
  4. I have considered sterilising equipment. Could you please expand on which type of insecticidal methods you apply, the products and how often. Likewise i have had several hedges subjected to the above symptoms which i have cut for several years without any problems. It has got to a point where i have delayed cutting hedges for my regular customers based on the possiblty of the onset of browning etc.
  5. washing machine soap powder, hot water and elbow grease
  6. why not try strictly for a perfect weekend:001_tt2:
  7. Common practice in the armed forces to add paraffin (KeroB). Also wise if possible to drain system of water build up ie tanks & fuel filters.
  8. You may struggle to find 2.4m long concrete gravel boards.
  9. Thanks for info. I have checked Ebay recently and agree the USA postage is very costly.
  10. Hi, I am currently restoring a Stihl 045. I require a rear handle assembly to get the saw running. If anyone has one stashed away please contact me many thanks Dennis:
  11. Horses for Courses comes to mind:blushing:
  12. Glad i am not paying the fuel bill on that baby:confused1:
  13. Hello everyone this is my first post so please go easy. Firstly, I must congratulate Arbtalk for an excellent forum and the advise freely given by a wide spectrum of members. Well today i was asked by a customer who is renovating a listed building and associated grounds if i could install 11 bat boxes. The only info given was that they must be installed south facing. Any advice such as the design of the box or can these be purchased off the shelf and the specific location within a tree or types of tree to avoid many thanks Dennis
