  1. They're less than that new .. Aren't they?
  2. As a hobbyist 'sawsman' I'd have to just look in through the pub window and observe
  3. Good luck Jasper Willowhart! That's one hell of a name to spread around! You were obviously born to be a tree surgeon lol. I hope you find a position somewhere, nice to see a young man with some gumption and initiative.
  4. What's the outlay, what would you be buying, what's your business model and who will your customers be?
  5. ...and then have a massive Stroke/Heart Attack.
  6. Not sugar! Cut back on the sugar/caffeine which causes spikes in blood sugar and artificial 'highs'. Try to have rest in the evening, hot baths, early nights etc. Eat clean, organic and NON PROCESSED foods. Take a Multivitamin supplement and particularly B vitamins. Slow down and take a day off!
  7. Sorry E-L-G I don't follow you here, could you explain how this works please
  8. I am raging over this! If it's not back in his account by 15th September, I'm organising a whip-round to reimburse him. An utter disgrace... No less!
  9. Yeah, who calls them weed eaters in this country?
  10. :: by heck, you just made me feel hip and cool!
  11. Three pages and no pictures of John wearing his Easy-Lift hat, what's going on?
  12. What I hate about the interwebs is the fact that if a new app or program comes out and gains popularity, in short order EVERYONE seems to have it. For example: Twitter Facebook Instagram Whatsapp Spotify Grinder
  13. Or alternatively I can continue to not have Facebook and not have to bother changing any settings.. Any old friends who want to get in touch with me will have to try harder than that. Mostly I've moved on and have no wish to rekindle friendships of my youth. Plus I told them all I was going to be a jet fighter pilot and I'm not, so I couldn't deal with the shame.
  14. You could buy a briquette forming press and start producing 'fire logs' like they sell in petrol stations, supermarkets etc. The initial investment would be significant, but ongoing you've got a second business! If you weren't so far away I'd do it myself. As for off cuts, if you're taking the outer strips of 'bark like' material, a sawmill near me used to bundle them up into, err bundles and sell them for £50 each, collection only in roughly 8ft lengths for firewood. There was even a waiting list! If you're talking small odds and sods, I'd pile them up somewhere and advertise it as 'collection only - budget firewood' and let people fill their own sacks/ trailers / car boots / pockets etc whilst charging them a small fee for the privilege. Might not go great guns in August, but come the winter you'll be turning them away Good luck!
  15. Thanks mate Got it on my lap now, reading through the manual (well looking at the pictures) had a look at the bar, chain, tools etc. Wiped the PDI oily fingerprints off it Fuel in the tank, oil reservoir dry...all looks good! It is a lump, but somehow that's a + for me rather than a - Feels solid. Wouldn't want to sling the thing around all day, every day mind.
  16. Fine, I'll do it. Do I need to remember my P.E. Kit so you don't make me do it in my pants and vest? Horrific flashback Are you notifying Worcester Fire & Rescue or should I?
  17. Hear hear! I see no need to ever follow the crowd and have this stupid Faceburk junk. It's just another way for people to snoop, perv and generally monitor you. Most of whom are idiots, cretins, perverts, and most worryingly STRANGERS.
