  9. We had a 066 pack up the other year when one of the lads kept cutting till it ran out of fuel , it had some compression but did a ring .. Dick Leigh said never let saws run out esp big saws ... Not saying that's wot wrong with urs but just a idea !

  12. Spotted this crack on a limb today while dead wooding , just wondered any thoughts on it & would you go to the trouble of "scanning " the limb to get a better idea of the depth of the. crack , I've found in the past some look dodgy but didn't go that far into the limb ,
  13. Grinders seem ok for taking most of the damage out of cutters but there not up to the standard off files , & don't cut nowhere near az good .. Not been impressed by wot I've seen to date :;

  18. A guy who makes stump grinders that bolt on mini diggers made it for me after i showed him the " art" design , did that one for free but cud ask if he'd turn out a batch , thought art would have released there's by now az the Velcro issue is one of the minor gripes about the sj ...
  19. Been using Yale been ok , alittle bouncy , found a good sling ( wild country ) that works perfect with the bobbin (Velcro ) replacement Love the sj
  20. Hi , just wondered if there's any climbers in my area ( nw uk ) climbing on a rw & srt , been looking into these systems ... & I'm keen to see & have a go at them .. Abt John

It's annoying because we allways check trees and get on well with the other council officers , the householder is very worried about this tree as the grid people hacked one side off it years ago and the rest is leaning badly towards her property, and showing signs of root plate movement !! But will have to look myself in morning .. As for CBC they say they no longer have a tree officer & arnt going to replace him !! & have told reception not to put anyone through to planning dept !!!
