    There's mixed feelings when someone takes there own life , I found a guy who'd hung his self from a tree while out shooting last year , it was very sad , & brought mixed feeling that he'd been selfish to both his family & to the person who found him ( me) but in the end to go to that end you must really tortured in your mind ...

    Hi just wondered has anyone heard of any funding you could get to help take on a apprentice through the ' skills funding agency ' read that asda got 8 million for it's appretices !!!

    I gather the localism bill is b4 peers this week & if passed will allow 'la's to to set up commercial ventures for profit ! , minister say there will b safe gaurds to stop unfair advantages ... !! Can't see how it can't be anything but unfair !!! La should stick to providing a good service for the tax payers& making there borough a pleasant place to live ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Heard they charged £600 for a two day job 3 men truck & chipper !!!! So just going in cheap to give there men some work .. Very unfair to the tree firms in that area that will have to price to stay in business !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    When I use to work for a' LA' we never did any private work & think this should be the rule along with the charity type based ' housing groups that have there own in house work but want a slice of the private jobs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I spotted a story today about local authorities being allowed to set up commercial ventures , surely if your local council started competing against you at private tree work ( or any private work) this shouldn't be allowed due to them having the tax payers money as financial back up ??     Ok David I've been looking in Roger Phillips book , they seemed little more purple than comes across in the photo , only had my I-phone with me , I'm trying to swat up on idents there seems to be a lot of colour shades within the same type of fungi .. Do u know the names of the other ones ? Thanks John
