  1. No, I meant the whole lot. Every annoying bit! Don't have time to poke bits of annoying wood out. Takes less time to buy new wedges. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  2. I'm not admitting to doing this with my kids! Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  3. The easiest solution I found was to throw the whole lot in the bin. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  4. What are they like with spikes on? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  5. I think that if you're blind and find yourself up a tree with a chainsaw, rope colour is the least of your worries! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  6. Well I hired a Carlton 7015trx grinder from their Burgess Hill depot this week. The machine was in excellent condition and the service I received from Ben was perfect. I'll certainly use them again if the need arises. The 7015 is incredibly capable. I priced the job at 30hrs but the machine is so productive that I finished in 8hrs then went to do two more jobs. Kerching!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  7. Erm, the nation complains like hell when the weather is cold therefore I think global warming is a good thing. Keeps us all nice and warm in the winter. I always felt satisfied watching the huge plume of warm black smoke poring out my Unimog stack! Look at last winter. The mild temperatures brought loads of rain which then brought me loads of work when the wind blew! Brilliant! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  8. Hi Rich Are you still on the Unicender? Al. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  9. Do you use a Hitch Hiker? If so, the HH 'flattens' all ropes but is not a problem. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  10. 11.7mm Yale Poison HiVee on a Hitch Hiker. Almost every Rope Wrench user that tries a Hitch Hiker, converts to the HH. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  11. Exactly. Although parking at Tesco, one may find to be a but of a chore! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  12. It depends largely on what rope you are using. I don't think Cougar Blue is popular with any of the SRT hitch devices. If you've bought a HAAS, you're hand ascenders are now redundant. One of the great features of the HAAS is that you can just go hand over hand on the rope above your hitch. This dispenses with the need for hand ascenders and keeps you in a more upright position. Also, did you know there is an SRT forum just above this one on the same page.
  13. Exactly. While I lust over an F250 and stuff, truth is I've spent plenty of money on flash expensive mistakes over the years and now if I'm going to buy a vehicle it has to do the job and cost the minimum possible. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  14. Yep that looks pretty stupid however, it'll be really cheap, good warranty, probably won't break down anyway and if it does break out if warranty it will be cheap to fix. Certainly has its place in the market. I love things like this and I would definitely buy a Ford F250! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  15. They are on a par with Jenson because that's what they're based upon but with all the design improvements that an experienced operator would make. Although, if the indeed aperture isn't at least 14" wide it won't compete against the other brands on performance. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  16. I'd have one of them. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  17. I got my truck body built by Solent Body Builders. Excellent service, top quality product, good price. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  18. Because if your vehicle is involved in a crash the insurers would notice that it's a tipper and they may look into the details because it didn't come out the factory like that. They would then wash their hands of you, rendering you uninsured. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  19. Six months! What a mean Daddy! The food ban in our cars, as policed by my wife, appeared to last about 3 minutes. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  20. I reckon it will be the replacement for my A540di that Matt sold me. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  21. I do that as well. I usually just say "Video is running so please mind your language". That really sets them off! Or they walk off quickly. Love it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  22. I just bought three bottles of different yummy Vodka at the airport. However, I haven't opened them yet so does that count? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  23. It must be for the neon lights underneath. Every tractor should have them! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
