  1. So that's where cramlington tractor been .. Knicked by darlo depot for job...
  2. Looking for groundie cutting work in Preston / Manchester area.. Own saws ppe and 10 years experience .. Cscs card and pts with own transport ..
  3. Rates of pay should be determined by type of work ,location etc . I notice alot of the people saying 150-180 is a days wage are down south.. Where you have to pay through the nose for a one bedroom flat!, so up in the lovely north we can make money go a lot further! Eg down at twickenham and paid just over a fiver a pint!! Where my local is a couple of quid a pint. So does that mean I can pay 75 a day as its a lot cheaper up here? Probably not.. End of the day as a subbie you take what your offered and if your not happy go elsewhere ad you may get more But don't come crying ack when you find grass ain't greener and it goes tits up.... Just a thought...
  4. money making... NWR do all there tickets in a few hours
  5. Quite a few companys around manchester such as renown... Look at the agency work as they normally sponsor then once you have it back your off... Wont be a resit now, will have to redo all again but wont have to be supervised like new pts... 3 days now though.............
  6. end of the day drive what you want.. Drive a landy amd doubt you will be stuck off road, but but either will a fendt and the fendt is quieter than sat vibrating your bones in a landy from newcastle to london.. Navara or hilux any day for comfort and towing down the black stuff:001_tt2:

  9. Mozza is right,,, sick of employing lads who have more tickets than a raffle but unable to do simple climbing/felling jobs... some assessors do just pass people when they should of failed[know this as fact] plus colleges getting lads who are on benefits being pushed through courses and colleges not wanting a bad reputation so passing them...
  10. we do alot for EA and have to do Rescue 3 swiftwater training or your not allowed within 2m of waters edge
  11. trust
  12. Stihl have brought some light weight ones out , gort approved . Stretch airs are stupidly expensive and heavy but are warm on night shifts. Try landmark, just purchased a few pairs from there. . Not much point buying your own t shirts as you need your sponsor name on the back and they normally supply them ..
  13. Rail overheads are 25000v and need a distance of 2.75m. That is just the start of your problems... If line has overheads then its a main line. If you were to cause damage you bill could run into hundreds of thousands.. north east council currently in a law suit where a tree on an estate was felled, this tree hit another sending it onto rail line and was hit by a train causing a lot of damage and also line closure... Walk away if you don't work on the rails or find a crew who do and NWR will normally get isolations as your doing them a favour..
  14. Coss is 4 days resist now!!! Extra on ac dc to send you to sleep even quicker..
  15. iss based outside york, do tree work at stations
  16. try honey brothers... Thats where NWR get them from

  20. you wanna get pts, cscs and other ua tickets once you have 39 but then you will need 40/41 with no experience you will find it hard getting subbie work... Get your pts, alot around liverpool at the min and will be spending north west in general
  21. martins finished you off like... Get in touch with qts, Half of martin managment there
  22. Cheers for the offer but will end up been easier to chip it all up.. Have a couple of other sites starting soon a bit closer to you so may give you a shout.. Only in houghton myself
  23. looking for someone with a timber trailer move around 15ton of leyllandii stems from a job in northallerton, north yorks. Cost for moving them, if they want them then they are welcome....
  24. Happened to my 03.. Soon as you put your foot down, was told it was to do with the turbo getting clogged up.. just sold it on......
  25. If you take out say ecm1 then you will be getting done for around 10 grand a minute! If its some little freight line then wont cost as much... since train companys rent the rail infrastructure off network rail its up to NWR to keep the lines running.. If they stop trains they have to pay compensation to train companys that are affected.. So NWR then look to recover that money from whoever is responsible and also any costs associated with bus transfers and work to fix the problem etc:thumbup1:
