  1. Looking to hire a chipper tomorrow for a job near Doncaster, Thorne.. If it comes with an operator would be good, but will just hire chipper if no operator available... Needs to be at least 6".. cheers:thumbup1:
  2. All of these people complaining about it is good for the companies who don't mind factoring it in... Most companies I work for deduct 20% . Even though some of the work is possibly exempt, they cant be bothered to mess about where one job is and one is not.. End of the day my competitor who is not willing to run with the scheme will not get the work leaving less competition for me, so my price can be higher to factor in the 20%.. End of the year get a nice little rebate as has been mentioned...
  3. I do a lot of tree work for a large landscaping country in durham. Do tree work on the roads , sites etc... They take 20% CIS off every invoice for labour only, not for hired in plant. I had to register with CIS otherwise they would of took 30% at source... Even doing tree work for Northumberland council at Haydon bridge was deducted as they have too. They supply a receipt when they pay my invoice to show what deductions have been done .. You just offset or claim back whats owed at end of year... JUst another way of the tax man getting his money up front.. Bxxxxxd....

It cant be fixed so spoke to dealer i got chipper off and they said they did not have a new one but could sort me a second hand one... Which was good of them {arbtech}...
