  1. Very true.. you can get a mile of thorn to chew through or a mile of big trees to climb and fell. Its a big diversity of work, or is for the sites I deal with
  2. Not really, stops kids getting on railways and also NWR putting up to stop theft and do there liability bit as a landowner.. As for mind numbing that a personal thing , but when de veg or fencer is prob making a grand a week plus .. not numbing when you look at bank account.. could be in a factory. that is mind numbing or reducing conifer hedges all day for a £100 every day... every man to there own
  3. Qts have fencing and the de veg... Taking it all from martins at the min who are losing there framework contract.. doubt they are bothered though.. palisade around £120 a metre, 2.4m bays on normal size.. so £300 a bay is about right
  4. I know both cleartrack and QTS have a lot down there.. Qts have a lot on the west too..
  5. Will be having a lot of ash coming off an embankment near great ponton in a month or so
  6. A lot around rugby/Northampton at the minute but there is work going on all over the place.. Try QTS , they are looking for lads in the midlands/south..
  7. Bob Mordecai 07715505580 and John story 07944388847 Border traiming. they do a lot of assessing for houghall college.. Both based Durham/Sunderland but do travel
  8. No lots of ash and other crap on the railways ✋ when a chipper can be working both day and night 6 days a week it takes it toll on blades. Have used original and copies and not a great deal of difference
  9. Twice the price of Saturn .. Times by 3 machine , that's an extra £450 a month approx....👎
  10. nationwide in durham..All depends where your based and access
  11. childish!! that was not hard to get a bite.. boring
  12. wear and tear? remind me to hire a grinder to you.. 32 new teeth at 18quid a piece , nice little earner.. By the amount of posts you put on I am surprised to manage to get out to do any work.. sad
  13. Like blades, paying to have them sharpened as you have used machine and now they are dull.. I am sure there are plenty of happy customers out there.. Since timberwolf have revoked there dealership they cant be that happy, and will probably end up back with orange!! not orange plant if you know the business
  14. ordered some consumables and chainsaw trousers... went missing, supposedly courier...the only thing they said was go to police. police said was a civil matter.. Never got my parcel or any help from them in the end.... as has been said, use gustharts................
  15. Had one in durham with a white van full of dodgy saws and work boots.. Said he had just finished at a trade fair.. AT 10AM!!!!!!
  16. Torden 22k with added garlon ultra.. Not cheap but will kill most things including jk , but a spray programme would be needed , not just a one off
  17. if you don't know the difference between a phone line and a power line, then perhaps you should be sat on the end of a phone line... not this industry..
  18. Still have trouble dealing with edge trees and windblown .. So will always be work for good cutters:thumbup1:
  19. to be fair to them the scaffolding they use is better than here for there purpose.. Such as building taipai 101 the bamboo scaffolding went all the way up , steel scaffolding would of buckled... In 10 years they will prob make everything.. look around your house:lol:

Not climbed with the gear but don't think I would have a problem with it to be fair and I do loler inspection
