Took around 15 wagon load of timber and 5 chip wagons away.. 50 tonne pinched near Brompton on swale over xmas too.. Must be killing the firewood boys seeing 15" ash stems disappear through a chipper but not economical cutting out when working in TM

we are chipping and mulching most of it for time.. Gonna run from barton services to leeming bar... ATM won a small bit through A1 plus and brought Blakey in with his John deer.. Have the rest to do , Have rotten with 20" bandit on it.... Tree shear on a 13 tonner and FAE on a valtra destroying it... Still a good bit to do once all the CPO,s are granted.............

Just heard my local dealer Arbtech is to lose its dealership.. Seems greenmech have opted to go with orange plant who is a larger dealer.. Don't know how good they will be since Timberwolf have withdrawn them as a dealer. All it means is that when I ring orange plant I will be speaking to a salaried secretary who will not be bothered, where as with Arbtech you speak to the owner David who is always there to help with any problems. Eg , feed roller went so phoned greenmech who told me to go through my local dealer . So I did to find they had none in stock and did not have a delivery date. So David found a second hand one and got chipper up and running in a day or two.. Cant beat the personal touch..........

Not if the timber is free and just has lads splitting in there spare work time... If companys who produce timber as waste and can sell it cheaper than log merchants .. Fair enough.. Seems a lot of twisting about pricing on this site, perhaps time for few of the twisters to change there business model or change industry... -

already spoken to david and he has no 2nd for sale and waiting for one to be delivered... QTS buying them all up .... Jensen 540 good chipper but not travel like a safe track.... Orange plant must be turning into green plant now by the sounds of it too...

Had a pandrel go through one a few months ago so had to pull one apart then...... New blades and bit welding and grinding here and there and back up running now...
