  2. we cant post stihl in the open with links. But can use the PM or Email system privately. IPL and Service Manuals
  3. There is a guy on my site with a 6000i and he pulled the like new topend off and put on a 6800 topend. You might ask him about the i stuff. Dolmar 6000i DOLMAR 6800 I have ran the saw and looked it over.
  4. I've seen pics posted on my site of 540 with flippy caps on both ends.
  5. Do you guys have the 545 over there? If so $100USD cheaper then the 550xp here. Same saw just detuned alittle. I would still take a 545 over a 346xp if I had a choice. That should tell how well it runs.
  6. I'm thinking the redmax 4500 for $200 USD less then a 543 4300 is the better deal. JMO though. I ddint see your opinion . Husqvarna 543xp
  7. Zenoah = Redmax market in north America. Made in Japan
  8. Any of you guys running these trim saws over your way? Zenoah 4300 made for husky 543xp.
  9. For those asking. Starts right up and test cuts were made. No known issues. Just remember shipping would be a killer in 2 boxes to over there. New ES 30" 404 bar and like new chain.
  10. I got a stihl 084 coming into today. Ready to cut, just to big for the owner. I sold him a 066 and 660.
  11. Plenty of pics posted on ChainsawRepair when I sold them all off. Square hand filed or square grinded chains. Had many many of them.
  12. Found a video of my sachs dolmar 166 making 3 cuts at a gtg on muffler. Not very fast on muffler but had to try it. 11 pin in small wood. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCdByH3C5gg&feature=share&list=FLLUZaf1BgCpRbTWbpfG1lFA]Nwpa GTG - YouTube[/ame]
  13. I ran up to a 3/8 11 pin in small wood cutting.
  14. That avatar pic is the same 084 that was in that video earlier. I'm thinking that was just the 36" bar in that up cut.
  15. Log or cant stands with how to. Cant stand
  16. 5 fing tries to embed. I give up. Husqvarna 395xp ported 20" - YouTube
  17. Stihl dealer estimate was $700 to fix and had 2 weeks, another dealer had it for a month. He finally picked up his saw and drove 50mins to me one way to get ut looked at. Had it a hour tore down figured out why it burned up. Gave options on repair, Redneck it, aftermarket, oem. Redneck repaired for a total of $200. $100 was for new parts. 20 mins of test cutting today so far. :bananawiggle: As delivered
  18. I have done the comparisons on 50cc stock and 3/8 cuts fastest. Stock 45cc .325. Woods ported 45cc and 50cc 3/8.
  19. Large mount to work on small mount. Well being I pulled a bonehead move and forgot to get a small mount clutch cover for the husky 362 and knew I had extra large mount covers that wouldnt fit. I wanted a clutch cover with tensioner in cover in small mount. Which I found out doesnt exist. Only small mount with no tensioner in cover and tensioner in crankcase with front adjust. So I went and modified one today. You have to elongated the bar stud holes in cover to get correct fitment. Take some metal off bar nut shoulder and some metal off toward the bar adjuster screw to fit the swrench in. Then take the pin coupling nut and grind the head down and make a little narrower around. Put pin coupling nut on upside down to make it fit the slot on the crankcase for the tensioner slot to ride through like normal. Thread with pics of doing the above. Some pics are embedded so you have to be signed in to see. 362xp
  20. If your 362 is a early version it will be a small mount husky. The later version was large mount like 372. Small mount cover uses tensioner in crank case. Large mount went to tensioner on clutch cover on the later 362.
  21. Work saw you say. Here is a woods ported 084 running stock piston. No pop up etc work done. Had 1 with domed pop up piston too. This saw earns a living with 50" plus bar ripping hardwoods now. I think it is the same saw in my avatar pic on the left side. 21" b+c at a racing gtg in 8x8 yellow poplar Thinking just a 9T that day, even though was faster with 10T and 11T in small wood. 22. Heck come to think of it my 2 084 woods ported work saw was probably that fast too.
  23. At least 3 of mine were faster. Bet...........
  24. Could someone put some real chain on these and make a video for me to see. Chain like stihl PS PS3 preferred, oregon VXL Carlton N1 next choices.
  25. Stihl dealer wanted $700 to fix a 046. So was brought to me after dealer had it 2 weeks and another 1 month. I figured out what killed it 1 hour into look see. I bought $100 in new parts and half of those wasnt needed like DP muffler etc and will have maybe $80 to $100 labor when done. Saved the guy at least $500 or more in the end.
