  1. Just make sure you get the Nicksel coating and not the chrome afm ones. BB 066 NWP, This cylinder assembly is NiSi coated for long life. The piston is Moly coated and comes with ductile iron piston rings. Piston and cylinder kits have a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. Owner of the 98cc 064/066 stock saw running it as he learns to cold start. Pulling 9T sprocket and also pulled a 10T. So no lack of torque in the kit, in the small wood testing. [ame] [/ame]
  2. The latest big bore 066 aftermarket kit I test ran from baileys that was on a 064 had unreal torque for a stock saw. I would buy one of those aftermarket ones in a heart beat if I needed one.
  3. Never heard of this and would like to know. I split a new to me 026 pro filter the other day to clean it out big time :001_unsure:and I didnt reset nothing. Could you explain exactly what I am suppose to reset? Everything seems to work proper after reinstall. It's running 3/8-7, but I am going to drop it to 325-7. 026's just dont have the balls to pull 3/8 stihl RSC IMO. I have to be to light handed with 3/8 even in poplar. Video linked. 4. These have been the best thing going for making sure new guys get the angles right. Oregon file guide, just get your right size for chain and everything is marked on guide from there on. Simple as that. Link below. 5. My husky dealer friend was having a grand opening of his 2nd store and 455's with 20" for $299 USD. I seen they are now up to $349 after grand opening. IMO the 455 and MS290 are on the same level. plastic clamshell designs.
  6. Echo 2900 IPL Operators manual 2900 I cant locate a service manual in the 5 mins I looked.
  7. I'm betting the guy hasnt a clue on what he was talking about and was thinking of the T435 strato that I can get for under $299 USD.
  8. Somebody in Cincinnati Ohio posted he could get T540xp ordered for $380 USD. My dealer hasnt even heard or seen them to order any. So I really wonder about it. 200T has been $559-$629 USD around my area. Whats that compare to your exchange rate? For T540
  9. Did any of the info help? Also you have a camera on your cell phone? I use it and post pics, even though mine aren't good quality.
  10. I know a guy in Manitoba that uses 2 of the 576xp auto-tune models on his job. He has nothing but GOOD to say about them. I ran a demo regular carb with adjustment one and it was strong in the cut with 28" bar buried.

    Jonsered

    2171 = 372xp 2172= 372xp XT strato versions
  12. Over here I have never seen a 200T muffler without a spark screen. Just unscrew the bolt and pull this screen out and it will wake the 200T right up. Just check your carb setting sometimes you will have to richen it up afterwords.
  13. I won them at TH in a drawing to give them away. I think they are the dawgs Baileys sales. Pro Dawgs link
  14. Get the Dual Port front OEM muffler cover with it, if it isnt on it. Then when your warranty is out, open the rear pencil eraser sized outlet on the back right muffler case to the size of the deflector. Then drill out or cut out the center cage baffle on inside back of muffler. Make sure carb is re-tuned afterwords and you will have the 660 back where she should be before EPA choked them down.
  15. There is also a new updated MS880 out there now. Has bolt on muffler etc. Might want to try to find the newest version if buying new.
  16. I think we were talking about 2 different uses. He and you are talking limbing, I think. I was talking about bucking up hardwoods with 3/8 and bar buried. So the differences is understandable.
  17. Just click the link I posted for you that says. (IF I were to buy a tach today it would be this one)
  18. If your running a 7T 3/8 on there now. Just move up to a 8T 3/8 sprocket. Same as moving up to a 9T 325. 8T 3/8 = 9T 325 7T 3/8 = 8T 325
  19. I went through this about 5 years ago. You have 3 different levels of refresh rates. So buyer beware before spending your money. Cheapie tachs for $20-$25 have a 2.5 second refresh rate. They work and I had one to start off. Just the 2.5 sec refresh rate got old when checking stuff. Cheap tach The new Baileys and Stihl 7 and 8 are big bucks but still a slow refresh rate at 1.5 seconds. Take that money you would spend on them and buy the next level. The best out there are .5 second refresh rate. Older stihl 5, echo 1000, stihl 302 etc. The NEW ones with .5 refresh rate are. IF I were to buy a tach today it would be this one This one would be 2nd in line with .5 refresh rate too
  20. IMO 570 and 575xp were lumps I've ran a stock 576xp demo in a big log with 28" buried at a gtg I had and it flat ate up my and others stock 372xp's. The 576xp has tons of torque and you could lean on it in the cut. JMO.
  21. Good used running 3120 go for $500 - $850 USD here . I sold my last one for $650 PHO, needing nothing but your b+c to go to work.
  22. I bet your really going like the air filtration on that 261 though.
  23. I paid well over $400 USD for a like new looking 254xp once. Sometimes if you want something bad enough you have to pay.
  24. Cut4fun

    254xp

Coil to flywheel. I just use a business card. Works perfect. In a pinch writing paper folded to make 3 layers.
  25. Nah a Husqvarna 562xp will fix it plus some
