  1. Been reading up on the changes coming to woodfuel supplies to those receiving the rhi. Could have quite an impact particularly if it comes to smaller schemes like those log kilns and importers of woodfuel. This is from the Central Point of Expertise on Timber (CPET). It's a service of the UK Government. CPET has been set up by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). Legal and sustainable forest source requirements for woodfuel — Central Point of Expertise on Timber Procurement (CPET) Dave
  2. Just done a deal on a 3 seater and two seater recliner sofas. So now....... 2m3 = 2 sofas

  6. I'm trialling bags from Fife. 0.75m3 with mosquito nets. Lots of distortion when lifting and stacking. Dave
  7. Our countax c600h is well past it's best but I'm starting to strip it down hopefully to fix it's lack of power. I reckon it's the hydrostatic drive. I'm going to try and change oil and if that doesn't do it I'll ponder the replacement 400 quid part very carefully. Dave
  8. Oh aye. Troughs, pigs, etc. Daze
  9. They need to collect their expenses.
  10. And the SNP mp's take great delight in doing so.
  11. Looks limited in its use. FEL would do it better. Dave
  12. Try paying your mortgage in Euros next month then.
  13. My mortgage is in pounds. You can bet the bank will want paying in pounds not some new unproven currency. Salmond banging on about how no currency union would be a hundreds of millions of pounds tax on English companies exporting to Scotland. That statement shows he's unable to think logically and will say anything to support his floundering snp position. English companies won't pay for currency exchanges....Scots and Scottish businesses will. We're the ones that will see the price rises. I fear for home, my pension and my sanity as this drags on and on. Dave
  14. Having spent two years passing through Livingston I can agree!
  15. Like wise. Dave
  16. We should stop drying logs. Think of the water we're putting into the air. Dave :-!
  17. My tightly stacked store takes longer than my lazily lobbed piles. Same airflow. Dave
  18. Love these threads! We all love engines and want to help. These lumps of metal, built to tolerances finer than our own bodies, controlled by computer and sensors and yet we can diagnose from the colour of the smoke! ! We're brilliant at producing lists of diesel engine faults! I'd see if white smoke is steam by holding something cold by exhaust. Look for condensation. To me it's fuel so I'd say add injectors to the list. Dave
  19. I've had all sorts of problems with felling license for a small wood. I think they think I've got the decimal point in the wrong place! ! Dave
  20. Gulp. I use these forecasts to plan. The guy is one of the calmest and level headed forecasters going. He's worried about the weekend weather in south west. Looks terrible. Dave
  21. What volumes? How much two stroke per litre? Dave
  22. I'm sure I've seen that on a farming forum as being from uk or Ireland. Dave
  23. Quite common in td5 engines, more from cracked injector seats in head. They don't run on............just destroy themselves due to lack of lubrication. Dave
  24. Injector stuck open? Fuel dribbling into cylinder and passing rings? Agree also pump. Dave
  25. Over to latest Tapatalk for android app would be great. Thanks, Dave
