  1. So the are like a long root ball. to give them the best chance water the planting trench well before you put the trees in

  3. Don't cut them back. Hornbeam should not be cut this time of year, Are the trees container grown, or bare root. ?

  7. Work position is so important. Make sure you can carry out all sequence of cuts from one position, or you will loose the geometry and your cuts will not line up. put your self in a position where you can operate the saw at waist hight. Not Head Hight As Rob said - leave your saw in the kerf until chain has stopped before moving the bar for your next cut. Make sure your saw is sharpened properly before you get to the assessment and the chain catcher is not missing. common problem but could be assessment terminated in the interest of safety. Good luck

  10. Make sure you using the correct file 4mm or 5/32 in the correct file holder. The file holders are specific to file size, Do not apply to much pressure when using a small diameter file, it will bend

  12. To be honest I think the farma 6t trailer and crane is excellent. Good first trailer, excellent for coppice work the only reason I am changing is to go up in size. I need a crane that will lift about 1ton and carry 10t. I would like to keep the farmer but it's not financially viable to have 2 trailers. Could shoot a video for you in a weeks time if that helps.

  15. No problem with willow. Pollarding will help with drought problems.
