I do run this course, the problem is we get quite a few enquires at this time of year, then when it comes to planting time people are too busy or want to postpone it until later, we then end up with 1 or 2 people wanting the course at a time. It's not viable to run the course with that amount of people and expensive for assessments. If you get a group of 6 candidates I will be more than happy to run it for you and arrange the assessments, at the end of November.

  14. Looks like the driveway was relaid 1 or 2 years ago could be the root of the problem. Find out the extent of the works when it was relaid.
  15. I know the mention of LOLER 98 hits a nerve as soon as it is mentioned. Do forwarders and forestry trailers with cranes come under LOLER.? As they do lift a load. If so how many people have them tested ? Is there a LOLER certificate that comes with a new one?

  18. Totally agree, The LA should not impose these conditions, Not being AA approved I have been in a similar situation. The AA does have it's place and it is a good cause, but I do know of a recently approved company that are good at paperwork So got there approval, I wouldn't trust half of them to prune a rose bush, although I have said this there are some very good AA approved company's Some times I believe the LA overstep there authority
