  2. A friend has a husky wolf cross but I prefer spaniels can't decide between Springer or cocker or cross of the two
  3. Hello all im planning on getting a spaniel some time soon and trying to get ideas for an arb name. I think chip. what are your thoughts?
  4. Get an old kitchen knife heat it on the gas. Wrap the bit of your rope your are going to cut at point of where you are going to cut it. Cut through the tape and rope in one hit *hopefully* the knife will need to be v hot look for a nice cherry red. Cut and heat sealed in one fell swoop
  5. They still teach and assess the 3 knot system. I like the idea of the zig zag but I don't think the hitch cord will be replaced. On its own its versatile and put it together with a pulley either hitch climber or something similar and it becomes even more useable in different situations. So yes the zigzag is a good idea but its a mechanical version of something that already works. And what happens when the links get worn out? I'm sure the most expensive cord is cheaper than a new zigzag or even a new part if they do that*I don't know if they do

  7. A vote for sip progress but I haven't tried the stretch airs personally. I had a pair of hiflex they died in 12 months and im now on sip progress.

  11. I've got a lumia 900. * I prefer the bigger screen size to the lumia 600. It does everything office wise and an app that is handy is windows sky drive. The camera is good battery is good.

  13. Hello All my name is Ian Clarke. I am a self employed climber/groundie. I have got 3 years experience in tree surgery. from small domestic work to bigger contracts. I have got my 30 31 38 39 my own saw *top handle* climbing kit PPE and transport with full clean driving licence and public liability to £1million i have a good work ethic *stay till the job is done. and am happy to drag brush all day to trimming hedges to rigging jobs and everything in between. I currently work for a few firms but i am looking to fill my days that i am currently not working. references can be provided.   15. im a rock climber and soon to be tree climber officially. a story it wasnt me personally but some mates went climbing up in scotland on a big crack multipitch only to find a dead deer on the top of the 3rd pitch and could not get around it or away from the smell quick enough as it had been there for a few days and was rotting nicely.
