    Worried

I did hear of a guy who got so fed up with having his car broken in to he put a seat cover on the driving seat............with a board with nails driven in to it protruding from the top underneath........ouch:blushing: ......of course I don't condone this sort of irresponsible behaviour:001_rolleyes:
  3. Yup, the 345 and 350 are the poor mans 346xp and are good saws IMO the mufflers are suposed to come loose but never experienced this with my 345. I muffler modded my 345 and tuned it to 13,500rpm, lovely little saw and goes like stink.
  4. Yup - ****** and low lifes, my brother almost had his kit get pinched when he was working near his van, fortunately he caught them having a good look and he looks like you wouldn't want to argue with him.
  5. I sort of agree, I trade on ebay and offer out good working kit but purchase off ebay knowing that the items may fall well short of what I would call "serviceable". Some traders are not quite as reliable!
  6. The seller is having a laugh - that is a £60 Zomax and what are the bidders on, haven't they seen a MS440:confused1: I like the way he says the original buyer was a time waster, more like a wise guy! Seen these come up as 395XP Huskys - I always report them!
  7. Sounds about right - taking the carb off a 441 is a right old job.
  8. What No are they - was looking at the classic No 2:confused1:
  9. Well it looks like Felco get the vote of the pros - they will be a birthday pressie so not worried about the cost....too much. Cheers for the reviews etc
  10. I was basing my comment on a non back boiler stove so heating one room or a bit more if you leave the door open - there are always exceptions to the rule! I have no doubt you are right in what you say!
  11. Right - I need a new set of secateurs for normal pruning but am usually a bit lazy and use them for thicker branches when perhaps I shouldn't! I have been drawn toward the Felco No2 and the Wolf Garten RR5000 - so it is a Swiss v German battle:001_rolleyes: What do you guys use - they will be a present so am looking for decent and want something that will last - the wife broke the last pair that had done 15 years! The Wolf Garten ones £22 and the Felco - £35 - best price, the Felco ones have spare parts available.

    200t handle

Same as the 020T but think that is it!
  13. Yup.....free wood = free heat. If you pay for the logs a wood burner isn't a cheap way to heat a house but makes the eco types feel happy. She will need to get hold of a source of free wood and old pallets make good kindling - it aint easy but beats paying the oil/gas/leccy companies!
  14. Pretty much my thoughts - just took a 441 apart and found some sort of twin choke carb - made taking the head off a much longer job than usual and reassembly was interesting. Most of this stuff is down to the US EPA laws - they feel the love of the catalytic convertor over the water - most of them seem to rip the things out as soon as they can! Going off topic - I see the 125cc Moto GP is being stopped and 250 four strokes taking over - are we going to see 4 stroke or diesel chainsaws:001_rolleyes:

    200t handle

Yup - Samuel has been in touch and it is the AV mount that has gone - as per the previous post - £5 but removing the threaded section from the saw may be difficult but should come out OK.
  16. It is my own ex-army Husky 181 - 80cc and no decomp valve - you need some bulk to start and use that saw but is a decent solid saw with a good rep.
